Doctor Amos is an excellent and caring physician. Sometimes you may have to wait beyond the appointment time but once he is in the room with you he does not hurry or make you feel rushed. And he asks questions about how you are feeling, etc. also discusses and explains everything. His nurse is very friendly and has a way of putting you at ease as she goes about her business. The rest of Dr. Amos staff is equally friendly while maintaining a professional approach to the needs of all their patients. Having known this doctor from when I would take my Dad to him about 8 years ago and before I was his patient, I can recommend him, highly.

I have been a patient of Dr. Amos for about 7-8 years. I really like him. He listens to my concerns, answers my questions and seems to really care. He seems to be the type who really stays up to date on latest medical developments and is very knowledgeable. I like his demeanor...very calm and relaxed. I will echo some of the comments other have made about his staff; they can be rude. Nevertheless, I will always trust my care to Dr. Amos.

"Dr Amos was fantastic. He was very thorough. However the front office staff and office manager were the worst I have ever experienced. Disrespectful, rude and completely irrational. "

"Terrible Communication. All calls go through USMD. Can not contact doctors office. I was in terrible pain after procedure. Kept calling USMD begging for someone from doctors office to call for help and set up follow up appointment. Seven days after procedure the doctor's office called. Dr. Amos had gone on vacation and did not make arrangements for backup. Had to get another referral for another ..."
