Dr. Garely and staff are amazing. From the minute you walk in the door you are treated by kind, caring professionals. Dr G performed a minor surgery that ended my problem. He explained everything in detail, even making a diagram to explain. His support staff is wonderful. I am extremely pleased with my experience here.

I have a unique case in that I was born with my bladder on the outside of my body. The bladder had to be removed early in life and I now use a catheter to urinate through a bladder constructed from bowel. Over many years my vagina prolapsed most likely due to the nature of my condition. None of my physicians could refer me to a surgeon to correct my particular vaginal prolapse so I searched the internet and miraculously found Dr. Garely. He did a thorough exam and an MRI to see what could be done. I'm so pleased with the results. Recovery was painful for about a week.

I very pleased and soooo happy I went and used Dr. Garely! He is very caring easy to talk to and the surgery he did on me was absolutely amazing. You don’t even notice the small scar! I am back to being myself again and feel great. His staff is also great. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone. I recovered faster than expected.

I came to Dr. Garely in search of a doctor that would listen to me and help me with prolapse and severe pain. I was seen by two doctors before this and both doctors dismissed me and said they were not able to help. Dr Garely was patient, kind and listened to me. He reassured me that everything would be ok and he would help me. Well, I am three weeks post-op and I am so very happy. He and his staff were so professional, extremely knowledgeable and kind. I would highly recommend him!

I highly recommend Dr. Garely. After having problems for over a year and getting no help from my regular gynecologist, Dr. Garely was recommended to me by a friend who had successful surgeries with him. On my first visit he diagnosed the problem. He told me that I needed surgery. A week later I had the surgery and I’m feeling great now. I just went for my 6 week check up and everything was great. He’s an excellent doctor.

Let me tell you about an AMAZING doctor. His name is DR. ALAN GARELY and he is a Urogynecologist. My former gynecologist diagnosed me with bladder prolapse, but did little to remedy my problem. I was very uncomfortable!! At my first visit, Dr. Garely THOROUGHLY explained my situation and said that surgery was need. He operated on me at South Nassau Communities Hospital where I had excellent care. Dr. Garely and his staff are very PROFESSIONAL, KNOWLEDGEABLE, and CARING. DR. Garely CORRECTED MY PROBLEM and I FEEL FANTASTIC!! I have my life back and I will be FOREVER GRATEFUL!!

Dr. Garely review Dr. Garely chose the most efficient surgical procedure to correct my 89 year old mother’s severe uterine prolapse. She recovered quickly and has a new lease on life. It is well worth the drive into Nassau County to be treated by Dr. Garely and his entire knowledgable and caring staff at South Nassau Community Hospital.

Although I am a physician myself, finding the right urogynecologist was very difficult. I did a lot of research and asked coworkers, friends, and fellow GYN for recommendations, but no one seemed to know any good urogynecologist. One of my GYN friends even said she doesn’t know any good Urogyn even though she is GYN herself. She said the field has recently improved so it’s difficult to find those who have kept up with the changes. Eventually, my primary OBGYN referred me to Dr. Garely. When I spoke to Dr Garely during my first visit, I knew that he was the surgeon who would be best for my procedure. He is very professional and he knows what he doing. He explained and discussed the pros and cons of all the different procedures. My procedure went very well and I have had no post operative complications. Thank you so much Dr. Garely.
