I would recommend him to my entire family. Wait is getting better but he is worth it. Will not go any where else.

I was a little concerned when I read the reviews about the waiting time but I am glad I went. Normally I dont write reviews but I have to say that I was surprised at how much time this doctor gave me. I did not feel rushed and he made sure I was clear about my concerns. He was patient and communicated very well. I was very satisfied and I personally do not mind waiting to get a higher level of healthcare. Maybe just plan on waiting - Bring a book or bring some work with you. It is worth the wait.

Dr. Miranda-Sousa is an outstanding, skilled doctor and a caring, compassionate person. He treated me with patience and empathy, made sure I understood everything about my treatments, and consistently made me feel like my health and my needs were his main concern. Yes, he is busy and there are times you have to wait, but when he is with a patient, his complete focus is on the patient - with a level of sincere care, concern, and knowledge that are important parts of his thoroughly exemplary medical practice. Dr. Miranda-Sousa is the finest physician of any specialty that I have encountered in my lifetime, and I feel blessed and grateful to have been his patient.

I have been seeing Dr Sousa for two years now and he recently asked me to say something on Vitals. I am doing this because I want to, not just because I was asked. My Urologist was originally referred to me from my primary car doctor at IMA. I have been impressed with Dr Miranda Sousa and I recommend him to anyone. His is very professional.

Dr Miranda Sousa is my Urologist. So close to my office. Get an early appointment if you are in a hurry. He spends a lot of time with his patients. Great Doctor

Dr. Miranda-Sousa has helped me so much. I have an unusual bladder condition that no one else could figure out how to treat. After diet, medications, trial and error and surgery, he has given me relief and a chance at a normal life. I am very grateful. His entire staff is kind, courteous and top notch. If you are looking for a kind, caring, enthusiastic, knowledgeable doctor he is your man.

Dr. Sousa is definitely an expert in his field. Her is very knowledgeable and thorough - you can expect to wait before your appointment. Lots of negative comments about waiting. To me it is a plus. Finally a doctor that will sit with you and talk about good urinary health.

There is no other finer Urologist in this or any other area than Dr. Miranda-Sousa. His professionalism is only exceeded by his humor and gentleness. I was really concerned before my surgery but he put all my fears to rest and I had absolutely NO problems afterwards. He explained totally what to expect and it was even better than he said!! He is the third Urologist I have tried and he is the ONLY one that I will ever go to for any problems that I ever have!! Put your trust in him...... you wont regret it!!

I was seen by Dr Miranda-Sousa for the past year for a prostate problem. The first time I was seen I required hospitalization and more recently have had surgery. Dr Miranda-Sousa and staff have been excellent. I would not hesitate referring anyone who needs a urologist to see Dr Miranda-Sousa.

This doctor is very knowledgeable in his field. I have had issues for over17 years. He is the first doctors to suggest doing some tests to see what the issues really were. He is very caring and patient and worth the wait which Maybe up to an hour. I would sit there for a week just to see him. The staff is very friendly and helpful and they go out of their way to make sure you have what you need before you leave.

Dr. Sousa is definitely an expert in his field. Her is very knowledgeable and thorough - but his office staff can be a little difficult to work with. He is a very, very busy man trying to accommodate everyone of his patients - all most sometimes too much. I would definitely recommend him as the --go to-- person for your urological difficulties in the greater Ft. Myers area.

Extremely poor manner of dealing with billing issues. Wait over 15 minutes on the phone, and no explanation of why procedure billed so that out of pocket is so high. No resolution of billing complaint.

Send me to CT scan and MRI but did not red the report from CT with sure. There was unrelated to the order finding that I was unaware for more than 1 year. Dr. Sousa is too busy to read reports. I just was irradiated 20 milisiverts for nothing.

Not a bad dr. But the wait time is inexcusable. Limit your patients. I am sure you can schedule better so people don’t wait and a waiting room of patients is not consistent with COVID guidelines. In the dr defense I have been to 2 urologists and both have no regard for the patients time and make them wait a long time.
