He found my source of testicular pain that was missed by a Urologist from my insurance provider. Although I paid to go out of network- any price is less than testicular pain. He is generous with his time and will not short change anyone for care.

Great doctor. Assisted me with ED issues. Just be weary of the stupid weird tests he performs and charges you directly. If possible, go to a lab to have tests done. Otherwise friendly staff, knowledgeable doctor.

This urologist has helped me for my constant UTI’s He gave me a few tests, diagnosed the problem and now I’m 2 years free if any UTI. A kind, intelligent, caring doctor LucretiaLaMura

Wonderful team and great doctor. Went in for a cosmetic circumcision and am very pleased with the results. Team was amazing and so helpful with scheduling.

I went for circumcision. The doctor was gentle and very friendly in his approach. The whole thing went well , I did not feel any pain at all. If anything just a prick at times. Otherwise the doctor made sure I dont have any discomfort before proceeding to go ahead with any further step of the circumcision process. After surgery healed quick and the doctor was happy to answer any questions I would surely recommend this doctor for circumcision to anyone.

My father was visiting us and needed to see a urologist for urinary issues. The doctor is very thorough. We felt very comfortable with Dr. Alex and his staff.

his frigid midtown office is a test-mill filled with very unhappy looking patients. Dr. Shteynshlyuger is not the best communicator. His gruff and terse manner left me feeling like I was just another number. Be wary of unnecessary tests. I was roped into believing that I needed all kinds of tests and these tests are not easy and are extremely uncomfortable. I ended up going to another urologist whose bedside manner was far better and learned I should not have undergone two of the tests performed by this urology practice.

Do not use this doctor for penile bend otherwise known as Peyronies. He had no knowledge on how to treat. I say this with complete certainty because after seeing a different doctor using the same exact medicine I not only did not suffer front the bruins and swelling that Alex caused I am starting to heal much much faster. I wish someone eels warned me about this doc. Before I went. I found the other doc through a forum and he does wonders.

Bait and switch. At first Dr. Alex and his staff were attentive and personable. But when my procedure did not go as planned and I developed complications, that pleasant attitude and personal attention suddenly stopped, they canceled my already scheduled follow-up visits, and left me high and dry. I look much worse now than I did before and had to find another urologist. I urge others to get in writing exactly what will happen (and who will pick up the slack) if something goes wrong.

I went to him for adult circumcision it was a horrible experience he to me I would only be out of work a day tops he lied she swelling was extremely bad I went back to show him the swelling and pain I was in he refused to give me pain Meds and then he took a empty syringe out and started stabbing me saying does that hurt at one point he even had a smurk on his face while doing it worst experience ever

I came to this doctor from my primary care physician and took all the lab work donee days ago with me.i paid $500 to talk for 15 min. No exam. He wanted all tests done again and sent me a HUGE bill. Both labs showed the same exact diagnostic and yet I was not sent any treatment or care plan. He said if I wante to be treated with antibiotics I have to make more office appointments at $500 each. How unethical

I had seen Dr Shteynshlyuger in 2017 to get urolift procedure for enlarged prostate I had taken a large number of test procedures with the the doctor for evaluation After being approved by the doctor to undergo urolift i had a few questions concerning the procedure and made several calls He and and his staff never returned my calls but they sure were quick to follow with the bills. This was 6 months of wasted time and money I followed with another doctor who performed the urolift in less than 2 months.
