I experienced Dr. Cho as professional, competent, informative, sensitive, compassionate, and encouraging. He took time to listen, explain the mind/body connection, and offered practical and relevant solutions to my challenges. I would highly recommend this doctor, I was very impressed. He seemed to really care and was invested in finding solutions and listening to my feelings and feedback.

So,we dont all like to admit we go to some specialists, but I tell you, Dr Cho is a true professional. I almost didnt go to him after reading the review from the chronic kidney stone thrower... But Dr Cho connects the physiological and psychological aspects of a condition and works with you on choices. He weighs them out with you! He absolutely understands and when asked will help in any way he can. I originally asked my Doctor for this referral, and two people in his office recommended, Dr. Andy Cho as the Doctor, Doctors go to! So kidney stone person, did you ever think you moved during the X-ray, or that the X-ray tech messed up.... A doctor can only see as clearly as the test which were run.

"When I went in all he asked after greeting me was "how long has this been going on?" I had seen since 2016 and the problem was getting progressively worse. Indicated I needed an out patient procedure."

Went in on a referral. Office person, not friendly to begin with and borderline rude when I called a few days later for questions. Dr Cho ran tests and found no issue but gave little help in conversation or answers to questions. Asked the office person to have him please call because I had thought of other questions. Never heard word one and was told he doesn’t call patients for questions. Visit was not satisfactory at all. Very surprising given he was referred by a friend who is a nurse. Wow. My regular doctor ALWAYS calls me back. Much room for improvement. Patients could do much better with someone else.

I'm confused. I am in absolute extreme pain. They found blood in my urine. I have no feelings during sex anymore except the blood at the end. I'm scared to death. Belly swollen. The office ran test I was told I'm fine with no other explanation and I was on my way .. left 100% confused, sad, worried.

I have a history of stones and this wasnt a big shock when I got another one. I went to the ER and was referred by the hospital to schedule an appointment with Dr Cho so I did. I did the scans and all that and I was told I had to have surgery because the stone was to big to pass. I had the surgery the surgery itself went well he was very fast. Not sure if thats good or not. Had a catheter installed after surgery and had to have it removed. His office told me he wouldnt remove the catheter till I had paid my bill in full. I freaked out I was so upset and in such pain. I totally felt violated and hung up. My husband had to call the office back to set things straight and the girl I talked to shouldnt have said that he was told. The directions they gave me were totally wrong all together. I ended up a the wrong place it was awful and I was in a lot of pain. They helped me and called Dr Chos other office and we Finally found where I was so pose to go and was late and almost had to reschedule they had me driving all over the place and Im good with directions when I get the correct ones. Anyways after that ordeal was over I went to the office to get the catheter removed and was waiting forever it seemed. I was hurting so bad and was all shook up over all this caios. I finally got in the exam room and he removed it hurt so bad. I asked him what kind of stone it was and he said he forgot to look. Then said most people have calcium stones and told me it was probably calcium. I told him I have a history of UTIs and that can cause a different kind all together. He never looked and told me it was calcium. That was horribly lazy of him and totally unprofessional. I needed to know. All he said was drink more water and left. I was just so upset by the entire ordeal it was almost traumatizing. I just got another stone and Im going to a totally different Dr. I would never refer him to anyone. It was an awful experience all together.

I had a terrible experience with this doctor. I have a history of kidney stones and I was experiencing an extreme amount of pain in my back. Having had kidney stones before, I was almost certain this pain was another stone. I called my urologist but unfortunately he could not get me in that day so I opted to go with another who had an available time in the same group. He scheduled me for a KUB Xray prior to my appointment and saw me about a half hour later. He did not see a stone in the Xray so he completely ruled out the fact that this was in fact a kidney stone. Dispite my vomiting from the pain in his office, he attributed the pain to constipation or a pulled muscle and sent me on my way. I assured him I had kidney stones before and this was no simple muscle pull or constipation but he did not listen. He said, --I can bet you a coke it isnt a kidney stone,-- and proceeded to tell me if the pain continued I could go in for more xrays but --it would be a waste of money since there is no stone.-- I left the office and went home, my pain worsened enough for me to go to the ER. In the ER, I was given a CT Scan which verified a kidney stone of 2mm. Needless to say, after wasted money for the Xray and visit at Dr. Chos, Ill be going back to get that coke.I followed up with his office only for them to tell me he did everything right and any other doctor would have done the same. WHAT A JOKE. I would NEVER recommend this doctor to ANYONE.
