Dr D'amico caused pain while inserting a catheter into my urethra during the exam and triggered a discharge. I am still hurting quite a bit since I saw her a week ago. I was not feeling discomfort before my appt. I called and they said your culture we took before the exam is fine. Sorry about your discomfort. You need to go see your gynecologist. Blew me off!

Assistants were nice had no contact with Doctor till I specifically asked and it apparently made her mad that I wanted to speak to the doctor before a procedure.I went elsewhere.

She made me sign a form saying urology treatment was dangerous and that my family or I wouldn't sue if anything bad happened. She got me mixed up with someone else during an exam and started talking about a medical procedure she thought I had already had when the reality was that I hadn't.

When I saw her she was making people sign a document that getting urology treatment was dangerous and that you would not sue if something bad happened. I had to sign this document before I could be seen. No other doctor had ever required that to be done before and it made me wonder why it had to be done with her. That is actually one reason I didn’t pursue surgery with her. She had staff who was local area natives saying she was strange and that she was not board certified. She also was giving me an exam and stated that I had had a certain medical test that I hadn’t gotten. I told her I had not received a test like that and she told me I had received that medical test and that I just didn’t remember because I was asleep. I told her no she was mistaken as I had not had a procedure that I was put to sleep for , for over sixteen years. The last procedure I had been put to sleep for was over sixteen years previous for my child’s birth. So she obviously had me mixed up with someone else, and I even wondered if my medical records were falsified. She then told me soon after she thought I was doing well with the medicine I was taking and that I didn’t have to see her anymore. Since I had started to feel like she was a questionable doctor I agreed and quit going to her. My general doctors were who prescribed my medicine ongoing after I quit seeing her. I didn’t feel like my urology problem was resolved. On my part I quit seeing her because I did not feel that I could trust her.
