Dr. Casale is the third urologist I have used for my daughter. His knowledge and experience is very reassuring. He has a very calm and approachable bed side manner as well he is not condescending like our previous urologist. I highly recommend him the only downside is the long wait at the appointments but this is a sacrifice I make to be with such a great doctor.

My son has been a patient of Dr. Casale's for 3 years now and he has performed 3 surgeries on my child. Dr. Casale has done a wonderful job with my son and I trust him completely. He's always been very patient and understanding with us, answering any of our questions and explaining the procedures to us. I wholeheartedly recommend him!

I've been taking my son to see Dr. Casale for the last two years. While his staff managed to screw up our last appointment TWICE, and I've learned to check up on how they've scheduled visits and tests, I really appreciate Dr. Casale himself for his expertise and his way of making us feel more at ease about my son's condition. He doesn't come out and give you every detail - unless you ask him for it, in which case he's more than happy to oblige. I'll be sorry to see him leave in December!

I believe most of your staff is not friendly and I didn't feel as though my child's condition and questions that I had were answered without feeling that I was bothering someone.

Dr. Casale, at first, seems like a very kind, patient, knowledgeable Urologist. My son, who is 5 now, has kidney stones. Over six months of treatments, starting with the shock wave treatment and several scope type procedures, took us from one large stone to two fair sized ones. Dr. Casale is arrogant to the point of being a poor medical professional. The first procedure, which again was the shock wave, he didn't put a stint in for my son. The result... An emergency operation that very same night to put in the stint because my son was in pain the entire day. I should have fired him right there, but I didn't realize yet how bad he could be. Dr. Casale's office is greedy too. They insist on having office visits to review results of an xray or ultrasound. We played along with that numerous times. Then one time we were going to have to wait nearly two months to have results read because that is when the next appointment was available. His office staff are horrid. I explained that no way was I going to allow my son to wait near two months to figure out our next move, which was pending the review of those ultrasounds. Understand, he still has a stint in place now and has had the same one in place for nearly two months! The office staff were firm in rejecting my idea that we didn't need an office visit to review the results and decide what was the next step. I asked to leave a message for Dr. Casale to call me back when he has a moment and they rejected that idea. Let me say that again. His office staff rejected the idea that my son's urologist would respond to my message to call me back. I will admit, I got upset on this phone call but not yet I wasn't. The person on the phone then suggested I speak to the office manager, so I accepted. I was cold transferred to someone besides the office manager who had no idea what I wanted or who I was. So I told them the details and again asked to leave a message for Dr. Casale to call me back. This person began to tell me that results would not be disclosed over the phone... My retort then was, then let's get a sooner office visit, np. Finally, this person, after she got huffy with me on the phone, decided to take my message to Dr. Casale. I had to get huffy with her before she did that though. I got off that call and felt like I had been punched several times. I was upset, confused and very concerned about who I was letting care for my son. I was amazed to get a call within 5 minutes from the Dr. Casale. He said nothing about his staff being rude and having poor customer service. He did though make mention of how I sounded. "You sound mad." I said I was not mad but I am flustered. "Well, you sound mad." Never taking any responsibility for his office staff treating me poorly. He rattled off results over the phone and said we need to get the stint out next week. Once he finished the procedure of removing the stint, and I am not exaggerating, he spoke to us in passing about the procedure. He had his backpack on his shoulder and was leaning away from our door as he spoke! If I had any doubts about his character, they were erased when he did that. The orders for this last procedure my wife noticed his office wrote that, "husband was irate" and some other slanderous comments about me. None were related to the treatment of my child. We have a new urologist now and he is doing a fantastic job. We started the process again with a shock wave treatment. The difference in how my son feels after the new urologist had finished vs how Dr. Casale is amazing. He has complained very little about any pain or discomfort, which was not the case after Dr. Casale's procedure. Dr. Casale is too busy, too tired and too arrogant to be any good. If after reading this you still meet with him, notice how tired he looks. It will define everything I wrote here.
