I was referred to Dr. Lim by my GP following an undefined prostate issue. From my first meeting with Dr. Lim he was an honest and direct, very much a no non-sense type of person, which is exactly what I respect and appreciate, particularly in this instance. He asked good questions, encouraged my questions and did a great job dumbing down my issue in terms I could easily understand. After two visits, my issue is 100% better. While I hope I never have to see him again, he has my full endorsement and I would go back to him in a heartbeat. Thanks, Dr. Lim!

Dr. Lim was knowledgeable and has a great funny and direct bedside manner. I had a painful kidney stone and he was able to schedule me for surgery and remove the stone quickly. Hes the guy to see when you are in trouble.

I really like Dr Lim. I am very comfortable with him. He has a great bedside manor. And he put me at ease. I have major white coat syndrome and I was not afraid. Nice caring man.

Dr. Lim is well qualified and is an excellent surgeon. I dont go to anybody else. Staff can be slow to return phone calls sometimes.

Dr. Lim handled my complicated kidney stone case perfectly. He is brilliant and I’m so happy with the outcome. He was professional, kind, and caring in a very difficult situation.

Dr. Lim treated me for a urology situation followed by surgery. He gave me direct advice from the beginning, was very patient, answered all my questions and made unexpected calls to me. My surgery was a highly successful experience with the best outcome. Dr. Lim and his team were amazing. They worked quickly and effectively to diagnose my cancer and get me referred to an excellent oncology team. He has a great bedside manner and is very thorough and precise with his findings and recommendations.

Visiting this physician is a bit like going through the Home Depot self-check. All the CPA personality jokes can be applied here. No doubt hes qualified with medicine, but since there are other choices... There other physicians (even urologists) who can relate more positively. Having had another urologist in Florida before moving here, I have a better idea of how patients can be treated. It wasnt totally bad, just mechanical.

Staff, as always, were extremely helpful, kind and very understanding. The wait is just something that happens when doctors are called away to the hospital but Dr Lim was dismissive and arrogantly short with me and my questions

I walk into every doctors visit with my little notebook, ready to write down everything I need to know and do, ready to have a conversation. The doctor told me, sorry I cant help you and Im not sure I know of anyone who can - wait, you dont have or know of any laparoscopic surgeons in Charlotte NC and are unwilling to look? And your not willing to engage in specific questions about diet reguarding my issues? Wont even start the conversation? Im about as nice and polite as it gets, this guy? Hes there for the cash he can make in the 3 minutes alloted - not for his patients.

This person has no right to call himself a doctor.He is the worse person I have ever came in contact with.At this time I consider the way he treated my mother who is 82 abuse of the worst kind.I intend to report him and will explain more at a later date.

Worse urologist ever. Go to other offices, Ballantyne or Concord, for the best docs! He complains about other patients. He has no bedside manner, no manners at all. He talks down to you. Does not explain any reasoning of his but is offended if you ask him why. Horrible person, worse doctor.

This Dr needs to take a medical course in follow up care!! Continually ignored concerns from my son and family when a basic vasectomy went terribly wrong. Due to his lack of concern and follow up, another doctor and surgery was required for a massive infection that almost caused removal of testicles and penis...massive hemotoma, clots and infection!!! No rating should even be given !!! But unfortunately required by site to publish. DO NOT let this doctor near you or anyone else!!!

I hope my visit with Dr. Lim was just an abnormal day. He did not read any of my charts, left after coming in for 5 minutes to then go and read the chart. Trying to figure out reasons for pain and discomfort, I was told he cant anything by him yelling --What do you want me to do!?-- Was told I am not telling the truth after trying to explain past kidney procedures, all of which are in my chart that he said he did not like to read. He did not like to read other doctors notes... More issues occurred in the appointment including using vulgar language. I am in shock that this was a doctor and hoping that he was just having a bad day. Whatever it was, was unacceptable and unprofessional. Save yourself the time, money, and upset and go elsewhere.

Went in with my father after he had a stroke to get a catheter removed and he said he can’t go on his own without even an examination and said he’ll set up a nurse to change it every month. He seemed more upset that my father was on blood thinners so he can’t operate on him. He said come back when his a fib goes away and when I asked him if that was possible he said no. Not funny after my father had a stroke and has issues understanding. He said that now he has to live with UTIs which is marginally better than having an operation that would make him bleed out. Seriously, who does that?? This guy is the worst and is of no help whatsoever. Definitely won’t be back, do yourself a favor and avoid this very unprofessional provider.

"Do not use this doctor if you want personalized professional care! Dr Limm performed surgery which had some complications with additional bleeding. Although you would hope all would be ok after surgery, the doctors after care and concerns were non existent! Even as swelling and pain becoming excruciating!! Another doctor opinion/diagnosis sought with additional surgery required. Hematoma had formed ..."
