From the first day meeting him at the office, I found that he was very competent. He got the diagnosis right, treated it appropriately and I feel like new. Loved him.

If you get an opportunity to have Dr. Kocur as your surgeon, consider yourself very lucky as he is the best kept secret in New York. The reason for that is that he not only can handle the most complicated surgeries like hysterectomy but he is also certified as a plastic surgeon which means he will take care of your physical health as well as your emotional well being associated with improving the appearance of your intimate body parts, after the surgery . Something not many women are not thinking about when choosing an obstetrics and gynecology surgeon..

My experience with Doc Kocur was exceptional. He gets five stars in my book. I had a dropped bladder for to long before I met him and he made me feel very comfortable from beginning to the end. He was professional, yet witty and helped to put my mind at ease through this process. I am confident to say he did a great job on my surgery and I am extremely thankful for his time. I was extremely nervous to get the pelvic sling. Dr kokur is an exceptional Dr that returns phone calls in the evening and on weekends. He had a calm, patient demeanor. I would highly recommend him.

Dr Kokur took great care of me throughout my entire journey . He was even available to text/speak to me whenever needed. If you want to see a talented and experienced surgeon who also communicates and make sure that you are on the same page as him, then see Dr Kokur. I would recommend him to everyone. He changed my life.

Dr Kocur has terrible communication behavior. I would never see him again. No bedside manner and doesn’t discuss alternatives to surgery.

Dr. Kocur was referred to me by my GYN. He's friendly and nice and extremely prompt with visits and surgeries. He did excellent on my surgery however HE NEVER EXPLAINED A THING. He did a short test in office and said you need surgery, speak to my secretary. She then scheduled it and gave me forms for my primary to clear me. Here I am, 1 week postop, at work cringed over because I was never told how i would feel post op, was never given pain meds, and not until after the surgery did his nurse tell me I can't drive. I would have loved to be prepared and take off from work to properly heal. Otherwise, his office is clean, h'es nice...just doesn't say much in the area of patient education and expectations. For that he gets 3 stars.
