I experienced to frequent awakenings at night due to prostate problems. Dr Whitley made that situation MUCH better with the EURO LIFT surgery.. I like this Doctor.

He was very kind, which as a female when you are dealing with Urinary problems you need that. He was knowledgeable and gave me options instead of saying ok this is what Im going to do to you.

Successful removal of a 7 MM Kidney Stone that Cary Urology failed me on when it was only a 3 MM. Dr. Whitley is very knowledgeable and friendly. Soft spoken and helps you to understand.

On 8.21.20 I began attempting to get an appointment with Dr. Whitley and was told to fax my medical records to the office; once received, Dr. Whitley would review and thed call me and set up an appointment, which I did. After a week, no call. I called them and was told they never received my fax because their fax machine had been out of order. This meant that I needed to return to my other doctors office to re-sign release forms and have them re-send to Dr. Whitley, which I did. During this period I also had my primary care person request a referral, which he did--TWICE, but he received no call back or follow up from Dr. Whitley. On 9.11.19 I called Dr. Whitleys office to discover that they had received my records. They said theyd be in touch. A few days later, I did get a call from his office. They took my --general-- information, etc., adding that Dr. Whitley would review, that he was only there two days a week, but theyd be in touch in two weeks to set up an appointment. Its now 10.18.19, nearly two months since my initial attempt to get an appointment with Dr. Whitley and I still have not heard from his office. This, I guess, is called falling through the cracks! Alas, how unprofessional, and from Duke!
