He is the best !! We would recommend him to anyone who needs a urologist. He has an awesome since of humor that makes it very easy to speak freely with him on all subjects. He keeps in contact with us and has said call him at anytime we need anything or have any questions. I can not say enough how awesome Dr. Mehlhaff is.

Dr. Melhaff and the staff at the facility are wonderful people and I felt like they really cared about me as a patient. I was overall pleased with the care they provided and would hesitate to use them in the future. They are quite busy, so scheduling is difficult to get prompt visits, and wait time is a touch slow. Other than that, great place, great doctor.

A very skilled and caring surgeon. The surgical incision scar is straight as a ruler. Healed up quickly without surgical complications.

Dr. Mehlhaff performed a nephrastomy kidney stone surgery on me to remove a staghorn kidney stone. His procedure caused me to have a hole in my back which kept rupturing every 2-3 weeks for over a year. My concern was that my kidney was rupturing from the surgery and urine was building up and then draining out my back through the surgical incision. Dr. Mehlhaffs comment to me was that could not be happening and --what do you want me to do, just how do you want me to handle this--. First of all, I am not the doctor and he should know how to handle the problems from a surgery he performed. I proceeded to go to OHSU in Portland and my suspicions were confirmed that my kidney was continuing to rupture and drain through the incision site. By that time my kidney was so far gone I had to have my right kidney removed. Please do not go to this doctor.
