Our first consult/cystoscopy procedure we’re both great experiences. Was impressed with Dr. Ibilibor's explanation of the details of the MRI , CT and cystoscopy results for my Dad. Clear and easy to comprehend. Answer all of our questions without rushing us out the door. This is our 2nd experience at UVA Urology Fontaine and all were 5 stars for the entire Urology teams and staff.
Will Follow up after surgery.
First visit was January 2022 after an episode of hematuria in December 2021 and a CT which was concerning for bladder cancer. I found her pleasant, very knowledgeable and compassionate during my first visit to the Emily Couric Cancer Center. My TURBT had to be delayed due to cardiology placing 3 stents in October of 2021 and not being able to stop blood thinners. Surgery was ultimately done in April of 2022 and I did indeed have cancer. Dr. Ibilibor did my TURBT and was again very pleasant and understanding of my emotional state. Naturally, I was very upset. She took her time in caring for me, answering questions, planning my future care after the TURBT and instillation of chemo in my bladder. I have an upcoming visit soon for a years follow up appointment and I look forward to seeing her and getting an update on my progress this last year. Hopefully, no cancer will have returned. If it has, I am certain I will get the best of care that can be offered under her watchful eye. Cancer is a very scary thing. Having a doctor whom you trust and respect is such a great thing considering how stressful the cancer journey can be.
Excellent first consultation. Both my wife and I were impressed with Dr Ibilibor's expertise and caring attitude. Also, her staff's handling of preliminary tests and scheduling has been entirely satisfactory. I will write a more detailed review after surgeries, but, as a retired university research professor, I wanted to add to this relatively young surgeon's feedback to assist other patients in their search.
this doctor in which i have NEVER been or she has never seen me. added a medical historty notes on my chart which was totally MADE UP medical history of stuff that was given to me and services that had been done. and when i inquered about the false information the first note was replaced with a shorter version which was still inaccurate false information. if this is how she practices medicine i would NEVER recommend her.
