My daughter sees dr cooper and his nurse margaret and now new nurse cannot remember her name. They are super nice and patient and try all avenues to take care of my daughter. We drive 6 hours to see him 2-4 times a year and can email nurse with ?s or concerns and she responds as quick as she can.

Excellent pediatric urologist. He is intuitive with children, and is surrounded by an incredible pediatric urology team. They are relentless about getting to the bottom of problems and so incredibly good interacting with kids---even with difficult problems/procedures.

He did follow up with my daughter after ureteral re-implantation. Good communicator, seems very competent, he and his staff returned emails and phone calls promptly, worked on scheduling appointments so that times were sensible; good experience.

Repaired my sons hypospadias. After surgery the frenulum didnt line up. Wont do another surgery to repair the mistake.

Cant seem to figure out a plan/way to stop my 12 yo son from bed wetting. Have been going to this dept for too long with absolutely no results. I think x-rays or something should have been done to attempt to determine the problem...but nooo. Is well-respected by those he trained, as they wont see my son when they find out hes been to Cooper and we didnt care for his practice! They state they were trained by him & therefore support all his decisions. Guess my son will wet the bed for all eternity if he doesnt grow out of it since there seems to be nobody willing to determine if this is d/t a physical defect/other. Itd be nice to at least rule it out, you know. My son is humiliated by his problems, cant spend the night w/ friends, and every camp hes been to is ruined by his bedwetting probs. Its sad. His self-esteem & ability to make/keep friends has really suffered. I expected more from UIHC. 1 med was tried-didnt work--youd think thered be more meds to try.

not understanding about scheduling and large out of pocket copay.....just take the time for next year and pay another $3000 out of pocket.
