Dr. Wolgel does a thorough job of examining you, explaining things and answering your questions. He is very honest and gets right to the point. I have been his patient for many years and would recommend him to anyone.

staff was friendly and attentive. doctor was fast and straight to the point. overall great experience.

Dr. Wolgel does a thorough job of examining you, explaining things and answering your questions. However he is not especially friendly and gets right to the point. That can be a turn off for some people, but I have been his patient for several years and would recommend him to anyone.

The wait time is far too long. The office space is terrible since there arent enough chairs for the number of patients who have a long wait time leaving people to stand and wait. The doctor is alwYs harried and looks overwhelmed. The staff is cold but professional. There is little respect for the patient.

I literally dictated him what he should do. When in the end of the visit I asked him about UroLift procedure, he said that doesn't not perform it and recommended a wrong doctor.

I had surgery with Dr. Wolgel 4 years ago and one week ago I had to have additional surgery to correct Dr. Wolgels incompetence. Please get 2nd and 3rd opinions if you have gone to him. In my mind he is incompetent to practice medicine.

I had just a terrible experience with this provider. He neither payed any attention, nor cared, tried very hard to end the visit ASAP, offered tests without necessity. I literally dictated him what he should do. When in the end of the visit I asked him about UroLift procedure, he said that doesn't not perform it and recommended a wrong doctor.
But my main complaint that when I tried to get in touch with him for urgent very confidential test, his office staff manipulated me, he never called me despite multiple requests, I was forced to disclose my private information to the staff and in the end he ordered not completed test. Complained to NYU Langone patient relations, but they ignored.
Never come close...
