Extremely disappointed. At his hasty recommendations (i.e. 5 minute video visit) he performed a Holep procedure on me. I had seen him two years earlier for a five minute in person appointment. After two surgery and a procedure (I'm doubtful I ever needed the surgery in the first place) I am now left with my existing problem (frequent nighttime urination) and now in addition lasting pain (year plus now) in groin, difficulty getting a flow started, and nerve damage in the scrotum. This is in addition to the stricture he supposedly corrected after the second surgery. Holep procedures are suppose to be the gold standard and the Mayo clinic says complications are rare. Dr. Comiter wrote me and said complications "are not rare". My advise... go to a urologist that says complications are rare, go to a urologist that carefully considers the patients records/history and gives far more than a hasty "one size fits all" assessment, go to a urologist that first considers the least invasive before the most invasive, a practice where the patient is more important than profit. I am further disappointed in Dr. Comiter and Stanford in their post surgery avoidance of any accountability, and their profiting off of failed procedures.
