I first saw Dr. MILANESA after an ER visit in Sunnyvale when I had a UTI and distended bladder that kept in ICU for 3 days. He was very thorough in his questioning and follow up procedures to best understand the root cause of the problem. Medications were prescribed and alerted that a surgical procedure may be needed. Still monitoring the situation as I am trying to avoid another surgery; I’ve had 5 spinal fusions and one total hip replacement. Only a miracle worker gets 5 stars. Have upcoming appointment at his request to keep on top of situation.

I was referred to Milanesa by another medical doctor who diagnosed me with hematuria (blood in urine) due to my taking an anticoagulant medication. I had preciously experienced the same symptoms with the same anticoagulation medication, a side effect noted on the pharmacy prescription warning (as well as by many medical websites). Mikanesa walkwalked in the the patient room and asked, --So, why are here?-- I explained the reason, adding that the anticoagulant I had been prescribed caused my symptoms, as diagnosed by the referring doctor. He immediately responded, --Its not the medication. It didnt cause the bleed. So, why are you here? . I paused a few seconds due to his rudeness, and, again, repeated myself, adding that this had occurred to me once before because of the anticoagulant medication, and that I had been treated by a fellow doctor of his from his own office who had diagnosed and attributed my condition into the anticoagulant medication. Without skipping a beat, he replied, --Its not the medication.--. He then explained he believed the cause was something else and that a certain procedure was possible in order to determine the cause. He didnt suggest, encourage, or ask if I wanted to undergo the procedure; I had to tell him I supposed the procedure would be the best option. The procedure revealed no physiological cause, which showed that the medication was to blame. I consulted the referring doctor about Milanesas attitude and --diagnosis-- and was reassured Milanesa acted unprofessionally and that he had misdiagnosedthe cause of my condition. Needless to say, this has been the worst experience I have had in terms of medical treatment. I will never trust my care to MILANESA due to his RUDNESS, UNPROFESSIONALISM, INCOMPETENCE, AND ARROGANCE !!!
