My husband refuses to go to a doctor office but once he went nothing like Dr. Hoffman

Dr. Hoffman diagnosed and performed surgery on my son when he was only 10 years old This is after he was diagnosed wrong by 2 different emergency room doctors. I had to insist that the ER bring in a specialist on our third visit there It literally took Dr. Hoffman no more than 5 minutes to know what was wrong with my son. About a week later my sons surgery was done and he was recovering well Dr. Hoffman is a doctor who actually doesnt try to rush through his patients He made sure we understood everything, and more importantly, he made sure my son understood. He talked to my son and treated him with kindness and respect, even though, he was only 10 years old. I think Dr. Hoffman is a fantastic doctor and surgeon. i can not describe what a perfect surgeon he is. I also need to state how great his bedside manner is too We were very blessed to have him for our son.

I had seen Dr. Hoffman 9 years ago but was to be seen as a new patient. I had all paperwork filled out and was told upon checking in that because I had misplaced my Mdeicare card I would have to reschedule? I have two insurances, Medicare and Tricare for Life. I had military IDs, drivers license, etc. I told the manager of their billing dept. my Medicare number and she would not call Medicare to even confirm that I indeed had Medicare? She informed me I would have to pay out of pocket because I had misplaced the Medicare card. I left and will not go to this unhelpful Medical Practice again!

I had an appointment scheduled with Dr Hoffman and upon arriving for my appointment was told I need to reschedule it. Supposedly they left me a message saying they needed to reschedule. I had two message one saying to reschedule and the last one confirming my appointment. I will not see this Dr EVER. VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE. THE FRONT DESK PERSON BETH WILL DEBATE WITH YOU. AWFUL!!!

I have never been treated with such disrespect by a doctor as I did with my first encounter with this guy. Treated me like I was lying about my symptoms - Laughed and smirked while I described them. There are too many other good doctors out there to have to deal with someone like this.
