Dr.Watson operated on me in 2005 with the DaVinci and was wonderful. I have done fine and the most understanding and concerned Doctor I have ever visited. I would recommended him to anyone. I have been Cancer free since the surgery.

Dr. Watson is on the rare cases that shows people really do care about others. He was great during my husbands surgeries for cancer and has been there for and helpful if asked. I think he is a great doctor and I think he is a real nice guy.

Dr. Watson was on call on a Friday evening when I was admitted to the hospital with excruciating pain and overwhelming relentless nausea. I had a huge kidney stone blocking the kidney. He performed emergency surgery and saved my life! During the ordeal, he was compassionate, patient and obviously a talented healer. Ive seen many urologist over my years of problems, and NEVER had the pleasure of seeing on with the traits described above. If I could rate he and his staff a --10-- - I DEFINITELY WOULD! You will never ever find anyone as talented and compassionate as Dr. Watson and his entire staff!

I was referred to Dr Watson by a great friend of mine and it was indeed the greatest referral I have ever had in medicine. And it has been maybe even greater for the many of my friends I have sent to him Including my wife who he saved from kidney cancer. Everyone that I have sent thinks he hung the moon. One lady patient friend of mine whom I sent to him with kidney cancer was crying saying the --c-- word would not let her see her children grow up. Dr. Watson said the --c-- word in his office was --CURE-- He removed her kidney and she is fully cured and during great. Just read his compassion honors.

This Doctor is a very unsafe Surgeon. He punctured something during our loved ones surgery, which caused Internal bleeding, the same day of the Surgery, that wasnt discovered until that night. Emergency Surgery was done, Our loved one was in and out of ICU for 6 weeks due to this very bad Surgery performance. Our loved one was never released from the Hospital, he passed away 6 weeks after this Surgery. I would not trust Watson to operate on an animal. I am sure we could have filed a lawsuit and won, but; after all the stress caused, we decided not to deal with it because lawsuits can be a long, stressful, ordeal. Be careful. He is definitely reckless and careless. Didnt offer any condolences whatsoever, yet, had the audacity to send a bill. Just because a Doctor Graduates from a prestigious Medical School means absolutely nothing. Competence and Skill, is what makes an Excellent Doctor and Surgeon!

Dr Watson performed a prostectomy on me. He cut open my small intestine, which put me back into emergency surgery two days later. His sutures attaching my urethra to my bladder failed 9 days after surgery and Dr Watson has never taken responsibility for any of the complications he caused. This turned my expected 4-5 week recovery into 8 months of disruption. I wouldnt let him work on my dog !!!!!!!!

Dr. Watson never prepared me for the lithotripsy scheduled on July 2, 2020. His P.A. Holly Thomas explained the procedure to me and my husband, when she later admitted to us that she had never even witnessed the procedure itself. I was not properly prepared for this procedure. How could I consent to this procedure?
I immediately complained to his office about severe pain in the left abdominal area. The soonest I could get an appointment was 8 days after my procedure. I was expecting to see Dr. Watson, but unfortunately only saw Holly Thomas, PA. she has the bedside manner of a shark. She didn't do a physical exam. I asked to See Dr. Watson, but he was unavailable. She didn't feel my abdomen, just gave me a prescription for pain and told me to call them next week if I wasn't better. I had a distended stomach and the pain was increasing.
Finally, I did research on the internet and realized I had the symptoms of a hematoma. On July 15th, I left a message for his medical assistant- no call back, I left a message for imaging- no call back, I scheduled an appointment with the PA for 1:00 that day. Each message explained that I needed a CT scan with and without contrast ASAP because I had suspected I had a hematoma with other complications.
The office called me to say that it didn't make sense for the PA to see me without a CT scan. I agreed and insisted twice that I needed a CT scan with and without contrast and it was scheduled later that afternoon. Sure enough, I had a huge hematoma located completely surrounding my kidney. Dr. Watson was called in and finally he gave me 5 minutes of his time. However, he failed to discuss the large stones that remained in my kidney and my ureter and offered nothing but more pain pills for my severe pain.
With no plan, on July 22, 2020 I requested my medical records so I could try to see what the heck was going on in my body. It was then that I read about the stones in the ureter and larger stones still in the kidney. That night I went to Atrium ER and was admitted when they installed a stent into my ureter and relieved that part of the pain and then received a plan for healing process.
Dr. Watson should be preparing patients and answering questions, the PA made this procedure sound like a mole was being removed, Dr. Watson never followed up with me and failed to provide proper treatment and information to me. I had to seek treatment from another Urologist in order to get the medical attention I needed. As of 08/03/2020, I am still unable to return to work.
Dr. Watson should be required to shadow a competent Urologist in order to continue accepting patients. Horrible experience with Dr. Watson and his office. He is either burnt-out or should go treat animals who are unable to read and do their own research.
