Excellent urologist. Dr. Bowers is knowledgeable and listens to you. He provides excellent care and helps you to understand the problem and how to best treat your issue.

Very friendly. Made me feel comfortable. Asked loads of questions, listened to answers. Explained his normal procedure and asked if I had any concerns. Support staff was fabulous as well. Extremely competent.

Watson Clinic puppet. He can read the computer screen and recite the words Watson Clinic tells him to say. Does not listen to your symptoms, and is offended by your questions. Everyone will get the same tests, regardless of your problems. If you push him for answers, he will explode! He is only there to sell Watson Clinic tests. If you have critical health issues, you dont have time for this guy!

I went to Dr. Bowers to have my kidney stones tested. He ordered a CT scan which revealed a bladder stone. Dr. Bowers looked at the results of the CT scan and told me he would use cystoscopy to remove the bladder stone and while he was removing the stone he would "scrape out" my prostate. I asked him if that meant surgery on my prostate and he said I needed the surgery because old men (I'm 68) with enlarged prostates form bladder stones. He said that other doctors would remove the stone without prostate surgery just so they could do the same procedure again later to make more money. I found Dr. Bowers to be less than professional in his approach to my problem and his description of treatment. He never tested my kidney stones. Later I had them tested by order of my primary physician and they turned out to be uric acid stones. This proved to be crucial to the further diagnosis and treatment of my issue with stones. Unfortunately, I cannot recommend Dr. Bowers for the reasons stated above.

"I was sent to Dr. Bowers for kidney stones. He reviewed the Cat-scan and then told me my back pain was structural and the stones were not an issue. My pain got worse so I found another urologist who was truly interested in helping me. He removed the marble size stones, 11 mm and 10.5 mm and found a tumor in my bladder of which the Dr. informed me was 95% of the time cancerous. With the stones removed ..."
