Dr Gould is very professional with great knowledge and facts. Very focus which I can respect and appreciate. He has a lot of patience, and is brilliant in his medical resolutions. Dr Gould is excellent in explaining to me as a patient what the plan is to resolve my issues. I thank him for his guidance and assistance resolving my urology issues. Dr Gould is a Excellent Doctor. I travel 2 and 1/2 hours to see him because of his abilities. He's worth the drive. Thank you Dr Gould for all your time and knowledge. Your appreciated. Sylvia Beschoner

I arrived at Medical City Hospital in Fort Worth via ambulance with an extremely painful kidney stone. As Dr. Gould was preparing for surgery, he introduced himself, and I met some of the attending staff. Before I could blink, I was back in my room in no pain whatsoever. Being able to meet him before my surgery truly put my fears to rest. I'm very thankful for his manner and his expertise! I would recommend him to anyone needing a Uralogist. He's an excellent doctor. Thank you so much, Dr. Gould!

His staff scheduled a surgical procedure on a day that he was not working. I never received a call from his office letting me know about the error. I only found out that my surgery was not on the schedule when I went to the hospital for pre-op tests. When I called his office about this, I was given no explanation or apology, I was just asked when I wanted to reschedule. The day before my surgical procedure, his office called to tell me that I had to prepay for the procedure even though it was covered by my insurance. Even after receiving my prepayment and subsequent insurance payment, I continued to receive bills. After my surgery, I requested a non narcotic pain reliever. I had to wait a day for him to write this routine order. While he may be very skilled and knowledgeable in his field, his interpersonal skills are lacking. It was very difficult to get information from the doctor or his staff prior to and immediately after my surgery.

after donor transplant surgery, never saw him again while in hospital even though I requested him because of intense swelling and pain, he sent nurse praticioner and she discharged me. Said I was fine. Saw him for follow up two days later and he said I was fine, just fluid buildup, so I then went to emergency room and I had a massive hernia on inside muscles with intestines bulging out and compacted, claims it was not his fault... Must have done it after I saw him and tore muscles. Had another surgeon stitch me back up correctly.

Horrible service. We were at the hospital with IV in - had waited 4 hour. Dr Gould’s nurse comes in and tells us to reschedule surgery for next month! Decided to switch to new Dr. Wanted records transferred to new physician. We were told they don’t do this in office and gave us a Records company they use. Sent form they requested and still nothing.

I went to the ER and was diagnosed with kidney stones, Dr. Goulds nurse practitioner scheduled a bilateral surgery for two days later to remove stone in both kidneys. I get sent home with opioid pain medicine to wait for surgery. In pre-op I asked to meet Dr. Gould and the nurses and anesthesiologists couldnt find him anywhere. He had signed off something on my chart but had never met me. After the surgery he talked to my wife for about 30 seconds without introducing himself! She assumes it was him, a man in scrubs came up and said --He is out of surgery. It went well. They will call you back to recovery in a bit,-- and just walked away. Four days later (Monday) we are back in the ER and learn that bilateral surgery only took care of the left kidney and not only that - there is still at least one stone still in the left kidney. I get admitted into Observation. Dr. Goulds nurse practitioner talks to me again and says I will get put on the schedule for Thursday. Again, I get sent home with opioid pain medicine to wait for surgery. A day before the surgery I call to set up my pre-op appointment and I am not on the surgery schedule. Also, Dr. Gould is on vacation. Also, I can’t get on the surgery schedule for another 2 weeks!!! Also, I can’t legally drive on this medication so I cannot go into work. After being on pain meds for almost a month, this morning I walk in to pre-op check in a 5:30 am and guess what – Dr. Gould has called in sick. When his office opens up three hours later, they tell me maybe I can get in on Tuesday, maybe, which is another four days away. After the first surgery, which he didn’t take the time to finish I have to foot an additional ER stay, and Observation admission, been on opioids for almost a month, have to pay for a second surgery, and been out of work all because he couldn’t be bothered to finish the job in the first place.

DO NOT GO TO DR. GOULD! TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE! The short story is that I arrived on time for my appointment and waited for almost two hours in the heat only to learn that the doctor was not in the office. Here are the details: I didnt have any issues scheduling my appointment with Dr. Gould except that I consider my condition to be life-altering, yet I still had to wait two months for an appointment. I arrived at Dr. Goulds office on yesterday at 11:19 for my 11:20 appointment. I immediately noticed that the office was hot and humid, worse than the conditions outside, and there was one box fan cooling the entire waiting room. This was a new office, but their air was not working. In September. In Texas! I signed in and waited. After about 45 minutes, I saw a man leaving. He seemed a little unhappy, but I continued to wait for my turn. I assumed I was next because I arrived before everyone there. I was called back about 55 minutes after the time of my appointment. The nurse took my weight, temperature and blood pressure and left me in another hot room with a small fan. After waiting there for approximately 45 minutes, I went into the hallway to speak with someone about an estimated time to speak with the doctor. I told them that I was very hot and hungry and that Id been waiting for almost two hours. Before I began to speak, the nurse whod taken my stats earlier asked if I was all done (as if she didnt know what was going on). I told her no that I hadnt seen the doctor. At that time, the receptionist and another lady walked up, and the 2nd lady who was holding someones chart informed me that Dr. Gould left to go over to the hospital. I said, --so hes not even here?--, and they replied no. I turned and left, and on my way out I passed a waiting room full of about 20 other hot, uninformed patients. That is ridiculous! I waited 2 months for the appointment, drove 35 minutes both ways, and sat in the uncomfortable heat for almost two hours unnecessarily. All they needed to do was communicate. That was yesterday morning, and as of this evening no one from Dr. Goulds office has apologized or attempted to reschedule my appointment! Again, DONT GO TO DR. GOULD! YOU CAN FIND MUCH BETTER SERVICE ELSEWHERE!
