Dr. Lewing is a great surgeon. Takes time to listen to patients . Highly recommended.

Dr. Lewing communicates very well and is caring and professional. He has taken care of all of my urology concerns (including a cancer concern), and has candidly informed me of my choices and potential side effects. I highly recommend him without reservation.

My experience with this doctor was very good. He has compassion and works WITH the patient to get the best result FOR the patient. I would recommend this doctor to anyone with problems in his area of expertise.

If you would like an a$$hat with the bedside manner of a narcissistic sociopath, then by all means give this office a call and ask for David Lewing. My daughter went to have a bladder stint removed after a procedure a week ago. The office has a sign that offers a calming gas for those with anxiety. My daughter was very anxious about her procedure, and said that she wanted the gas. The office told her it was $75. She agreed. When the doctor came in, he said, "Nope, you don't need it." She said, "but you offer it, and I'm willing to pay for it. There's a sign out front and everything." He said, "Nope, I'm too busy today to mess with it." He then proceeded to perform the procedure in a callous and detached manner. During the "care," he said, "Oh, and stop telling people you're allergic to lidocaine. You're not." She said, "I didn't say I was allergic to it. I said I had previously had a reaction to it." He said, "Well, I used it during your procedure, and you had no issues." What kind of a douche ignores a patient's previous history and just uses whatever he wants during treatment? What kind of lowest common denominator dismisses his patients concerns and wishes because he's busy? Answer, apparently David Lewing, MD. My daughter is supposed to have a follow up. She won't be having it with this guy. Unless you enjoy being berated and belittled by your urologist, I recommend looking elsewhere.
