My husband and I both liked Dr. Shin very much. We felt very comfortable and confident in the information and results he provided for us. After my husbands procedure he was great about following up with us and seeing how he was feeling. I never had a problem with staff or any nurses there. Everyone returns your calls promptly and addressed any issues right away. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
I rave about dr shin! He is by far the most compassionate dr i have ever dealt with. My husband had a procedure done for male infertility and dr shin explained every step and option for medical treatment. He followed up after the procedure and best of all he restored of faith in having a child. He is truly a gift for God! The Hackensack urology dept is not ideal bc there are long wait times but dr shin is worth the wait and he spends so much time thoroughly explaining things (both in person and on phone calls). Just bring a good book for the wait :)
Dr. Shin is the best in his field but unfortunately his assistant is the worst I have ever experienced and it is impossible to speak to Dr. Shin about anything unless you make an appointment to see him in the office, otherwise it is required to go through his incompetent assistant you never gives doctor messages and doesnt return phone calls. The worst experience with a doctors office I have ever had.
Office and I assume the Doctor were extremely unorganized. I waited on hold several times for 15 minutes each time, I would call the office during normal business hours and it would go un-answered. I was scheduled incorrectly for my appointment which wasted 2 days of vacation time and unnecessary scheduling for my family and children. I would HIGHLY avoid using Dr Shin or anyone at the Hackensack Urology Dept at all costs if you value your time and your sanity.
The staff that works in the office is awful especially the Latino guy he doesn’t have courtesy or patience with the patient he needs customer service on how to talk to patients I hope you take my advise otherwise you will lose customers
