Wonderful staff. Took a great deal of time to listen and evaluate me, even though the office was packed. Genuinely friendly, smart guy. Was honest and clear in his explanations.

Very attentive and seemingly very knowledgeable. A really nice guy too, if not a bit intense.

Very thorough physician. He treats patients with respect and explains illness. I had an ear infection at my last visit and he showed me a picture of the ear to help explain my infection. Does not overprescribe and is very honest with the patient. Cares about patients general health and encourages patients to maintain healthy lifestyle. Professional and friendly staff.

My husband and I have been patients for 20 years. He is the most accessible doctor we have ever gone to. He is caring, smart and a truly gifted surgeon. He explains everything in great detail and has unlimited patience. After surgery he stays in touch with you, sometimes several time a day to find out how you are doing. I wish all my doctors were like him.

Dr. Weiner came heavily recommended by a friend. He was very detailed in his approach and even spent weekend time answering my questions. He guided my journey through a variety of tests and imaging, all of which he took a look on the day of the results. He also dispelled a lot of the misrepresentations that I read online. I felt in good hands and much calmer through an otherwise anxiety-inducing process. I will be going to his office for annual checkups and followups.

Dr. Weiner did an excellent job diagnosing my current status of stones. Explained to me what tests and why should be done. Never felt rushed or pushed upon to take any invasive tests. Follow-ups after tests were again explained in detail and my questions were completely answered. Difficult to make short notice appointment as he is booked up usually 4 to 6 weeks in advance.

I have been visiting Dr. Weiner for years.Like the others have said, he is very knowledgeable and very patient. His outlook on drugs coincides with mine, he doesnt look for a quick fix. He wants to make sure you understand what is happening and what you should expect. He is always spot on. His staff on the other hand needs customer service training. I also wish I didnt have to wait a couple of days for the first available appointment.

Dr. Weiner himself is a great doctor. Diagnosed a condition that went unnoticed by many doctors for years, then recommended a great surgeon to fix the problem. His demeanor is great, hes very smart and knows how to get to the point. His administration staff (the NY Cardiovascular staff as a whole) is absolutely terrible. Takes several days to call in a prescription, never answer the phone, lazy, take unbelievably long lunches (2+ hours on several occasions the person I needed to speak to was --at lunch--) and will not do any work within 30 min of closing time. Other doctors there are great as well, along with the nurses. 100% of the admin/secretaries/receptionists should be fired and restaffed immediately.

My opinion is that this man should be removed from medical practice or be re-educated in the basics of patient care. He refused to consider antibiotics prescribed numerous times by first-rate physicians (before I moved to New York) to alleviate my lifelong history of the condition which was seriously impairing my daily life. He rejected the history I presented by saying to me that he --does not practice law-- and --lawyers should not practice medicine-- and he twice demanded I plan to apologize to him after his prescription solved my problem. He charged that my previous doctors improperly prescribed expensive antibiotics and he then gave me prescriptions for even more costly anti-allergy medications. After Dr. Weiners prescriptions gave no improvement, I went to a different doctor, who prescribed antibiotic and cleared up the problem. In my view, Dr. Weiner is an arrogant, close-minded man who tries to use abuse and intimidation instead of intelligence in responding to a problem.
