Dr. Assimos is a very caring and great Doctor. He saved my right kidney. Had multiple stone surgeries before him and none were successful before he operated on me .He had started on my left kidney and I had one more operation. My Insurance would not pay. I was heart broken. This was in 2015. The left kidney is in horrible shape now with 4 large stones. I so wish he could operate on my left kidney but I'm forced to go to another Doctor. Will probably have a lot of pain with no results again. If you have good insurance and he takes your case, please go to him. HE IS THE BEST AROUND!!!! Thank you Dr. Assimos, Your Patient from Dalton Georgia, Sherrie Blalock

Dr Assimos is know as the Stone Man. He is the one to go to if you have Kidney stones. Comparing his treatment of my stones and a friends treatment by another MD, I feel that he treatment more inclusive. he address the cause of stones and what you can do to prevent them. He also diagnosed and treated early bladder cancer, discovered during a cystoscopy for an obstructed ureter. I should be noted that I was on coumadin for A Fib at the time and he handled this complication easily. His followup has been comprehensive.

This man has to be the most arrogant Dr I have ever had to deal with. I did not even see him, before, or after my surgery. He did not want to do any follow up tests to find out why my body was producing kidney stones and kept telling me that I did not qualify for the medicines that I needed for kidney stone treatment. He seemed like he was smarter than anyone else and just because he is the chief of urology, does not give him the right to mistreat and be mean to his patients.; He seemed as though he was to busy for me.
