My husband and I think he’s the greatest! He is very knowledgeable and thorough! My husband had Stage 1 Renal Cell Carcinoma which required removal of his kidney! Dr. Lentz was up front with us, but at the same time he gave us confidence that all would be well. He was able to remove the kidney laparoscopically. He ordered a last minute cat scan because his first one had been done 6 weeks ago. This proved to be an important decision as a stone was found in his good kidney and that had to be removed three days before the kidney was removed. It could have been catastrophic if the stone hadn’t been removed first. He is doing well and we love Dr. Lentz. We would highly recommend him!

Wonderful experience with this doctor.have had extensive treatments over several months due to bladder cancer. Very professional, courteous, caring , compasionate. Seems to be very much on the leading edge of things. Would highly recommend this doctor.

He spoke too loudly and I felt everyone in the office could hear him!

The most horrible experience I have EVER had with any doctor my entire life. He lacked empathy and understanding, and the actual kidney stone surgery/stent was unbearable to the point I have memory lapses due to the level of pain. He disregarded my excruciating pain, even when I was in the ER. He demeaned me during the stent removal by saying I was physically --sensitive--, as well as talked over me as I cried, and ran off with the nurse, leaving me undressed, messy and crying. He talked fast, rushed, seemed very arrogant, and didnt really listen. Then after the stent was removed, I urinated very high levels of dark blood for at least 3 or more days. Note that a later surgery with a stent from a different doctor/provider less than two weeks later was COMPLETELY different, with NO stent pain after surgery, as well as only pink urine for a day after its removal. The differences in the experiences were like night and day. Also, the REASON for the second surgery elsewhere is because Dr. Lenz left a large stone in my left kidney that he could have removed when he was doing surgery to remove the stone in my right ureter. I would warn ANYone against seeing Dr Lenz as they will not be treated well or listened to, will be in pain and disregarded, and may end up seriously injured if he continues being dismissive and arrogant with patients.

This is the worst experience with a doctor i have had .I had a kidney stone and strokes and i was in the hospital for them .And he was on duty and was making his rounds i was in so much pain and still had a kidney stent left in there and had a bad infection and he became irate and started mouthing me and told me to shut my mouth several times because i had asked him a question about my upcoming surgery. There was a hospital nurse in there with me and couldnt believe how he was treating me he was treating me like an animal and had no reason to behave that way he was unprofessional and beyond rude it was truly a nightmare experience i would stay away from him if i wanted to be treated like a human.
