She has what most doctors are lacking that is empathy and she listens to the patients and makes them feel sane!

I called and had the consultation and proceedure scheduled in less that 5 minutes. The staff at the office were all kind and helpful. Theyre were a couple odd things like switching rooms and someone popping in unexpectedly during my proceedure but nothing to get upset about.I purposely sought a female doctor for my proceedure because I have a few remaining hangups from sexual abuse by a male family member when I was young. The history was never mentioned to Dr. Bigham. She was kind, caring and professional without coming off as overbearing or cold. We had a normal conversation all during the vasectomy which helped it go easier (for me) and the recovery (6 days in) is going just fine.

Prescribed what should have been prescribed by my gyneclogist long ago. It works and she is very knowledgeable. I was very pleased with my service there and will make another appointment.

Diane Bigham was my urologist for 6 years. She is the finest physician that I have ever had. I had a myriad of urological problems including acute testicular and pelvic pain. Other physics suggested removing my testicles and had no answer for the pain. I went to see Dr Bigham and she spent about 45 minutes with me since her next apt had cancelled. Dr Bigham went through my entire urological history and asked in depth questions about any injures that I had. I shared with her about two bad groin injuries that I had suffered. She sent me to a physical therapist that specialized in pelvic trauma. The PT did an evaluation and reported back to Dr Bigham confirming her diagnosis. Dr Bigham began to treat me with pelvic floor injections under anesthesia. Additionally, she ran tests on me that revealed that I had urological retention. Dr Bigham taught me how to self Catherize which helped significantly. Over the six years that she treated me, my pelvic pain and testicular pain was reduced significantly and her care resulted in a major improvement in my quality of life. If you see a urologist that cant give you a definitive answer and treat your pelvic pain issues, I strongly encourage you to see Dr Bigham. Had she not moved away I would still be seeing her and treating with her regularly.

Dr Diane Bigham has been my urologist since 2009. In 2000 I suffered a severe groin injury that resulted acute pelvic and testicular pain that went on relentlessly for years. I saw several urologists, (all of whom were males) over the years that said they couldnt do anything to help and could find no reason for the pain. In an attempt to stop the testicular pain one doctor actually suggested that the way to stop the pain was to remove one or both testicles. Several years later I was introduced to Dr Bigham who saw me on short notice for a urological problem. She did a very thorough pelvic and urological exam and spent a great deal of time asking me questions about any history of urological problems and pelvic or testicular injuries I may have suffered. I told her about the 2000 injury and she said that all of the symptoms I exhibited, bladder retention, dysuria, and acute and chronic testicular and pelvic pain are consistent with a severe pelvic injury. For the first time in nearly a decade, a physician had taken the time to ask all of the questions necessary to determine the cause my pain and she had a plan to treat it. Dr Bigham ordered some physical therapy and began a series of pelvic floor trigger point injections. After the injections took hold, for the first time in nine years I would be nearly free of my pelvic pain for as long as eight weeks at a time. If it were not for Dr Bighamâ??s persistence in asking questions, doing a thorough examination and digging until she found the underlying cause of the problem I would still be suffering today. Since I started seeing her she also treated my urinary retention by placing a bladder stim in my back that helps my bladder function properly. Dr Bighamâ??s skill as a physician and her willingness to try new techniques and procedures changed my quality of life for the better in a big way. If you want a physician that doesnâ??t accept the status quo and looks beyond what others do to find the real problem I encourage you to try Dr Diane Bigham. You will find her to be very kind, compassionate with a great bedside manner, she asks questions and even though she is a female I feel far more comfortable speaking with her about my urological issues than I ever did any male urologist I treated with.

Dr Bigham is the best physician I have ever seen. I had a very severe pelvic floor injury that has resulted in a myriad of urological problems including acute testicular and pelvic floor pain. I have had other male urologists that couldnt diagnose the problem but Dr Bigham did. A previous urologist discounted the source of the pain after listening to me for five minutes and told me he knew exactly what my problem was then suggested he remove my testicles to stop the pain. I finally relented and let him remove one. Six weeks later the pain had returned. He later apologized. Dr Bigham told me that organ removal is rarely ever warranted when its a pain issue. The real task is to find the source of the pain and to treat it. She spent an hour with me walking through my urological and medical history. As soon as I explained the injury she stopped me and did an additional examination. She immediately found the issue and has treated it successfully ever since. I have now been more than three years with 80% of the pain reduced and I go weeks with little to no pain. She also solved my bladder retention issue which was caused by the same injury. I cant say enough good things about Dr Bigham. She is patient, a great listener and she genuinely cares about each patient she treats. I would encourage you to give her a try before you see ANY MALE UROLOGIST.

I would not give her a star! Do not recommend her what so ever, the first appointment was all rushed barely asked questions and did not review my medical history. I was referral there from cancer center, Dr. Diana did not do her part as a doctors to fully examine me, the first appointment was very short she was rushed because she was understaff and had another appointment, she basically had me go to another room so she can take care of the next patient. I was very confused and didn’t feel welcome.+
The second visit was horrible, she was rude when I informed her that I did not follow the full two weeks of catheter because I was in pain, she made a nasty comment. She then takes the time to look through my medical history and was surprised to know I had PCOS then states that I didn’t inform her the last visit, so because I have PCOS she prescribed medication. After telling her I been in pain for a week she didn’t take the time to do father exams. She didn’t bother to touch my abdomen to see why I was in pain. In results of her not caring and listening to me of my pain I end up having the worst pain in my life the following day I end up in the emergency room and had surgery.
DONT GO TO HER!!!
