Cancer is a word no one wants to hear, but it is a challenge made easier when you have confidence in your doctor. Dr. Eigner’s education, skills and his dedication to being on the cutting edge of new developments makes him an all-around excellent doctor. My experience with him from diagnosis through surgery and after has been one of utmost professionalism, kindness and care..

Went to Dr. Eigner for a procedure and had a fantastic experience. He was very personable and attentive. Procedure done quickly and was a success.

Been a patient for 3 yrs. My GP told me to come back in 6 months, but Dr Eigner diagnosed my prostate cancer & probably saved my life, since it was already outside my prostate. I have consistently been impressed with his genuine interest in me as a person. Only criticism is that getting an appointment time can be tough - hes busy.

Dr. Eigner diagnosed and is treating my husband for prostate cancer. Successful robotics surgery in August. We feel blessed to have such a qualified and all-around great guy as his doctor. His nurse, Deb talked my husband off-the-cliff, so to speak a few times during this awful process. You will not find a more qualified or caring doctor/nurse combo.

As a 67-year old male, I followed the normal pattern for men my age of having PSA tests ordered by my family physician over the past years. As there were some slight changes over time, I was referred to Dr. Eigner and Urology Associates. When the numbers presented a concern over a year, Dr. Eigner walked me through options and recommended a prostate biopsy. It was the right move as the biopsy indicated an intermediate risk prostate cancer.
I was given options, and chose to have robotic radical prostatectomy. The surgery went well. My experience with Dr. Eigner has been fantastic, and I can't say enough good things about him and his team. Not only does he have a sterling reputation as surgeon (I researched!), but he has been informative, compassionate, and a good listener. I'm forever grateful to have him for the surgery itself, but also for the ongoing surveillance and care.
And the team of nurse and PA- Carissa and Kristie, are also exceptional! This team is the best.

I always find Dr. Eigner to be very friendly, professional, and clearly knowledgeable about my medical issues and follow-up needs. He shows instant detailed recall of my prior visits, which I find impressive and helpful both for him and myself. I come away from my appointments knowing he and I are definitely on the same page regarding what to expect medically as time passes on until we are scheduled to meet again.

I found Dr. Eigner to be a compassionate professional in every respect. His bedside manor is always impecable and above reproach. He thourghly explained what my condition was and gave me all the information I asked for, or ever needed for all opotions of treatment. When I choose a treatmen, Dr. Eigner and his staff were 100 % supportive and encouraging. I will recomment Dr. Eigner to everyone I know every chance I get.

I have gone to Dr. Eigner for several years because of elevated PSA. After numerous biopsies, cancer was found and treatment recommended. The treatment recommended for me was CyberKnife radiation. The thought of radiation scared me but after searching the internet for articles on CyberKnife treatment I agreed. 5 sessions(one every other day) and I was done with treatment. My PSA has fallen from a high of 20.5 to approximately 1 currently and continuing to fall. The only side effect I experienced was slight burning with urination for about 2 months post treatment...long since gone. And best of all is the fact that everything functions as it did before treatment.

Dr. Eigner is an amazing physician and surgeon. He was patient, kind and explained everything in detail to me. He answered all of my questions and was extremely helpful throughout the entire process. I would highly recommend this fantastic doctor to any of my friends.

I went to Eigner for second opinion on a recommended surgery, which he confirmed and was helpful and attentive. He referred me to another surgeon in his office (Cowan) for the actual surgery, so had to pay another ~$250 specialist charge for another evaluation on top of the original Doctor eval bill and Eigners eval bill. Then when I saw Cowan he had me come back a 2nd time, so it was actually two more ~$150 bills with him (original Doc was 3 appts that added up to $700 and Eigner was $250 and Cowans 2 appts totaled $300). Nothing new done in most of these appts. A few too many revenue-raising appointments that were likely not all necessary (in my non-professional opinion), but that is standard in doc offices these days. It is up to the patient to question them on that (so my fault). As I mentioned, Eigner was helpful and attentive.

I have never met a Doctor who was as down to earth as this man. From the moment I stepped in his office, and to have Dr. Eigner talk to me like friend, and not a Doctor, was the most comforting feeling after prior experiences. To take this life threatening disease, and treat me as a family member, was all it took. I knew I was in good hands! I would recommend Dr. Eigner of Urology Associates (As well as the Anova Cancer Care Team) to anyone who is battling prostate cancer today.

Im thankful to my PCP for recommending Dr. Eigner several years ago. Hes a great listener and always 100% present as he takes time answering questions and helping me understand treatment options. Wow! What an experience. Dr. Eigner talked with myself and family (not down) to us. It was refreshing to have a doctor really care about me as a person, not just a number. From the moment I arrived at his Lone Tree office, I felt like I mattered. His nursing and office staff go out of their way to make you feel welcome. Dr. Eigner took time to answer my questions and help me understand what the next step would be. Because of my diagnosis, I will be seeing him several times a year. I feel confident in him and his staff. Way to go Dr. Eigner and Urology Associates.

Dr. Eigner is a shining star in the dim world of healthcare. He is one of the kindest doctors I have ever had the pleasure of receiving care from. He is smart, organized and thorough. He walked me through my entire appointment and made sure all of my options were made clear. He was patient and answered all of my questions without seeming rushed. Dr. Eigner is a phenomenal surgeon and my procedure went off without a hitch. Dr. Eigner took it upon himself to check in on me multiple times throughout my recovery and showed genuine interested in my wellbeing. I would recommend Dr. Eigner to anyone and everyone looking for a phenomenal Urologist with impeccable bedside manner.

Excellent outcome for a robotic prostatectomy (2/13), highly skilled surgeon, could not be happier with my experience being treated by Dr. Eigner. I would highly recommend him to others dealing with prostate cancer. I also appreciated his candor and insight into various treatment options, and the way in which he presented the various options as they applied to my situation.
