My primary doctor saw my PSA results (3.4) and recommended nothing. I went to Dr. Lizza a few months later for something completely unrelated and he suggested taking another PSA test. The results came back the same, but he thought it was too high. He sent me for tests, which at first came back negative for cancer. He could have easily let it go there, but to his credit he didn't let it end there like many doctors would have. He sent me for more tests and they eventually found prostate cancer. Going that extra mile is a sign of a doctor who truly cares. I can't thank him and the staff at Northwell for all they did. They are true professionals and I would recommend them any day.

Saw Dr. Lizza after getting the run around from my NJ. Doctor who just kept prescribing friggin medications that had God awful side effects. Dr. Lizza listened intently to my concerns and after several tests indicated that I may have have a TURP procedure. I had the procedure done a couple of weeks ago and my symptoms of constant nightly urinations are starting to decrease and my stream is significantly better. His bedside manner and knowledge were extremely comforting and I would recommend his practice wholeheartedly to anyone needing his service

Waited an hour for a simple blood test. No explanation or apologies from staff other than were busy.

This practice is a factory. The reception staff does not look at you, listen to you nor hear you. They really do not care. I had an appointment 7 days ago and today they just gave me a cup to urinate in. Even though I was there last week. Last week I was there twice because for my first appointment, after an hour of waiting, I left. The doctor suggested a CT scan and a ultra sound. I had them done but when I arrived today, they did not have them. I was there to schedule surgery.I did not see the need for an appointment. All the doctor had to do is review the tests and either schedule the procedure or have me come back in. I guess they need to keep the billing going. I called the doctor 7 days ago to get clarification on something. He called me 5 days later. He is not engaged. Not interested. Stay away. R Fink Manhattan
