Let me first say I am a very active 70-year-old rancher who has lived an exceptionally physical life that has led to 14 major surgeries. My mantra has always been “life is not a spectator sport… get out, be active and do something”. This latest interaction with the medical community was not my first rodeo with surgeons and hospitals, consequently I feel comfortable writing this review. With all that said, nine months ago I was diagnosed with cancer. After being seen by the teams at MD Anderson and the University of Texas Medical Center, Dr. Mobley clearly was the only person I wanted to perform my surgery. With quiet confidence and an undeniable trust in her extraordinary surgical skills, she immediately stepped in to perform a very complex surgery that ultimately saved my life. From my very first appointment, Dr. Mobley saw me not just as a prospective surgical patient but rather as an individual with specific needs relating to this latest challenge. After a very successful surgical intervention, Dr. Mobley shifted gears from a particularly gifted surgeon to a uniquely talented clinician taking what I can only describe as a holistic approach in identifying, treating and ultimately correcting other urologically related problems. The ultimate professional, Dr. Mobley is the definition of what I, as a patient, look for in a physician. She is an active listener, always very attentive to my concerns, explains everything in detail and ensures I fully understand our conversation before leaving her office. Not only did Dr. Mobley save my life but her tireless efforts have directly resulted in restoring the energy and zest for life I once had, significantly improving my overall quality of life. Dr. Mobley’s competence, compassion and caring approach to delivering medical care is very special and I have the utmost respect for her. I am especially thankful that she was there for me when I needed her the most. I will be forever grateful for what Dr. Mobley has done for me. Without equivocation, Dr. Mobley has my strongest possible recommendation for anybody who needs to see a urologist.

There was an error with scheduling my husbands kidney surgery. The scheduler from Urology Team didnt coordinate properly with the surgical center. When we went in after he had been prepping for surgery by not eating or drinking 12 hours beforehand, we were told he wasnt on the list or even in the system due to some lack of paperwork submitted. Dr. Mobley, even though she had a full schedule that day, was able to squeeze my husband in to remove a 6mm kidney after talking to him and realizing how much pain and discomfort he was in. The stone that had done a lot of damage to his ureter as his body tried to pass it. Dr. Mobley has shown kindness and compassion and we will definitely be keeping her as his urologist. My husband has seen 2 other doctors from the Urology Team, but Dr. Mobley is definitely by far the best one as far as listening to his concerns and going out of her way to make sure that his recovery after surgery was as pleasant as could be expected including removing his stints a few day earlier than they were originally supposed to be taken out. Her bedside manner is what you hope for in your doctor, especially when you are in a lot of pain.

I went to her office for a regular visit and was told that I was going to have a small non-intrusive procedure that consisted on inserting a catheter to look inside. Well, this --insignificant procedure-- hurt like I cannot tell you. I was crying and let everyone know I was in pain. Dr. Mobley did not care a bit. Once she finished she took her gloves out and left. Never saw her again. I went to the bathroom, cried from the pain, came back to an empty room, got my things and left. Nobody there to even ask how I was doing. Will NEVER return and please do not go to this doctor. Not caring at all. Doctors forget that they are treating PEOPLE not a mass of cells. I am not a person to write reviews, but I wish I had read something about her, it would have avoided that pain.

Went to initial evaluation, got prescription supposedly to HEB but some other pharmacy she probably has interest in called me and said I could have HEB call them to get prescription. Called back to office to get prescription sent to me and was hung up on 4 times. 5th time they said they would pass a note to nurse to call me. 4 days later a nurse from another doctor calls me to see what I needed. Total disconnect in the office communication and a total wast of my time. Will never refer them to anyone.
