What a fabulous doctor. He performed prostatectomy for advanced, aggressive prostate cancer. Highly recommend his thoroughness, professionalism, and caring approach

I think the world of Dr. Wallen. He is an excellent doctor/surgeon. My surgery was a huge success and I was back on my feet a lot sooner than expected. He is a wonderful physician with a very caring heart. I would definitely recommend him to do any surgery with regards to the kidney. He is excellent!

Dr. Wallen (and his team) performed my biopsy and then radical prostatectomy using the daVinci robotic system. He was generous with his time, very clear and comprehensive in his communications with me and my wife. I received a confirming option from doctors at Duke Medical Center. Surgery went exceptionally well and I am well on the road to recovery. I am four weeks out now and would highly recommend Dr. Wallen and RN Mary Dunn, who, along with Dr. Wallen, provide follow-up care and monitoring. I was pleased to find that UNC Medical Center has a culture of really caring for the patient.

Dr. Wallen is very caring and is quick to answer emails and phone calls. He answers questions, is kind and very knowledgable. He performed surgery for prostate cancer and we have been more than pleased with the results. He has an excellent staff to guide you through thie process of cancer. If you have to deal with this issue, we highly reccommend him.
