Dr. Salvatore is a very knowledgable urologist who care fully explains the plan of care and answers all your questions. He and his team performed my care very well during a recent operation.

Dr. Salvatore is awesome! He is very smart and a caring doctor. He has always been there when I needed him and I will refer him to anyone I know that needs a great urologist.

Profit first your health second – I went to see Dr Salvatore a few years back because of a rising PSA, I explained that I had no issues with my urinary track but I was concerned about the rising PSA and the possibility of prostate cancer. The Dr put me on Meds for a possible infection and then proceeded to schedule me for 3 or 4 tests for my urinary track. When my PSA reading doubled he chose to keep me on the Meds and continue with the tests. When my PSA climbed again he finally did a biopsy almost 5 mos after my first appointment and guess what, I had prostate cancer and it spread to my lymph nodes. Yes it spread while we were doing all these tests for PROFIT! Now I am dealing with the side effects of the medicine I take to keep me alive I blame Dr Salvatore 100% for my present condition and would not recommend him in 100 yrs

If you have a rising PSA score and you care about the longevity of your life then this is the last Doctor you want to see, he will perform every test in the book except check for cancer which he does last. Wow, a bladder infection or a deadly disease what do you think should be checked first? If you’re ok with all this then this is your Doctor

I would not recommend Dr Salvatore or the skylands urology group (now North Jersey Urology). I went to this Dr for a rising PSA and he treated me for everything but the possibility of cancer, finally after 4+ mos and my PSA still rising he did a Biopsy and found I had prostate cancer and it had spread to the Lymph Nodes. Basically he took the biggest threat to my life and dealt with it last. I would recommend Garden State Urology in Morristown thats where I am now and thats where I should have gone to begin with

Dr. Salvatore seemed ok, a bit braggadocious, but hey nothing wrong with a little confidence. However, he scheduled a follow-up “conference” not a medical visits, so that he can tell me about his personal exercise routine and left me with a YouTube link after being in the office for five minutes with him. I later get a bill totaling over $300, half of which I’m responsible for (the amount is just due to my insurance). However, the fact that they schedule unnecessary and irrelevant follow-up visits so they can charge the insurance and/or patient, is borderline unethical!
