Dr Palapattu was excellent right up until he discovered I didn’t have a tumor or cancer on my kidney. Of course this was discovered after he was doing surgery but that happens. His attitude, lack of understanding, and his total disregard for my condition and type of rare tumor is the reason for the low review. He completely disregarded my complaints about pain, nerve problems, and any concerns I had about surgery. The most disturbing part is how he believed I was done and didn’t need any follow up care within U of M is sad and possibly dangerous to me as a patient. I’m sure he’s a very skilled physician and knows his profession exceptionally well however when faced with something not in his abilities he didn’t accept that and proceed to have me meet with a physician that does know about my condition.
