I have had three meetings with Dr. Carpinito. At each meeting he took the time to explain his diagnosis and answered all my question. I was never rushed or felt that any question was stupid. I had gone to another Urologist prior to meeting with Dr. Carpinito and all I can say is Dr. Carpinito was far and away superior. Great patient experience.

This was my first meeting which eventually led to surgery. All aspects of the pre and post surgery were very personal and professional. Staff and Dr. Carpinito very easy to talk to. Love them!

He saved my husbands life who was suffering from retro peritoneal fibrosis whose growth was impinging on his kidneys .Dr. Carpinito is very knowledgeable in his specialty of urology and an excellent surgeon . We thank God and him for the quality of life , my husband has now.

Dr. Carpinito was wonderful. Saved my dads life for sure and always had time for us. His Boston staff, (NOT Framingham) on the other hand, not so friendly. They are pretty rude on the phone and very rarely do I get a call back. They should smile more. People are calling that office because things are not good in their lives.

On two separate visits, Dr. Carpinito gave me two different opinions. No new CT scans or any information from the first opinion. The first diagnosis was not to worry. The second was --you need to schedule a nephrectomy--.

In one year I saw this doctor 3 times every time he sees me he looks at my face as if it is the first time he is seeing me. The last visit I waited 1:45 min. For hi m, no one explained to me why he was so late to see me. He walked in the office and said to me I should have an MRI his office will schedule it for me. After I have the MRI instead of telling me he would let me know of the results he says call me a week after your MRI to find out about the results. What kind of a doctor is he wasting my time all that time to tell me they should have scheduled an MRI before this visit and then billing my insurance co. And I for not giving me any service. it has been. Have called their office and asked for the results of my MRI, and have not yet heard back from the doctor about my MRI results. It as been 19 days.

I was concerned about a urologist who had an intern that didnt know words like --urethra-- or --orgasm--, but was really concerned when he himself didnt know about anti-fungals (which I need to take when I take an antibiotic).I saw him for major testicular pain, and still dont feel like he understood what my problem actually was. Instead of listening, it felt like he decided that I had something I knew I didnt and then spent all his time proving to me that I didnt have it. He gave me an ultrasound and then said they didnt find anything and there was nothing else he could do. It was clear he was attempting to see as many patients as possible and had no time for listening or trying to help (which may be him or the whole culture at Tufts).Ive already found another urologist that is listening and has offered 4-5 things to try, one of which is a medicine that is actually helping. I will never return here.
