Dr. Knoll is one of the nicest doctors I have seen. I read the other reviews and I cannot for the life of me understand why those people would say such things. Dr. Knoll spent a lot of time discussing my condition with me. He told me all of the options and answered all of my questions. He helped put my mind at ease. His staff is also very nice and very helpful. I would recommened him to all of my family and friends.

The Urologist in town who all the doctors send their family members to. That's all you need to know, really. Smart, efficient, and always does the right thing.

I have seen many urologists in the past for treatment of my kidney stones. Dr. Knoll was the only one who wanted to determine why I was making stones so that they could be prevented. He took care of my stones, and discovered the reason why I was making stones. I havent made a new stone since I met him. This is the first time in eight years that I have not made a new stone. I would strongly recommend him to anyone with kidney stones.

One of the nicest doctors I have ever met. Listened carefully to my problem and formulated an excellent treatment plan for my kidney stones. My husband also saw Dr. Knoll for prostate cancer. We were both very happy with him and would recommend him without hesitation.

I felt this Dr wanted the money over helping me out... I have Seen 2 doctors in regaurds to the same issuse, Dr knoll didnt seem to care and charged about 4 times more then any other place, and on top of that did not want to right a scrip for what was needed, and never seems sure of what he said. very unhappy with him. WOULD NOT RECCOMEND

I had a terrible experience with this so called doctor. He advised me I had a double hernia and a nodule as well as an enlarged prostate. I do have an enlarged prostate for many years. He was very rude and short with me. He took over for my previous doctor and he was obviously unprepared for me. He advised I should also see a hernia surgeon and would not even take me as a follow up patient unless I had a biopsy done. Bottom line is I just received my results of a biopsy from another doctor who I trust. His findings were: I do not have a double hernia neither do I have a nodule. My results came back negative from my biopsy. I am very happy. I believe this so called --doctor-- should have his credentials taken away from him. I strongly advise EVERYONE to stay away from Dr. Abraham Knoll. He is as cold as ice and I believe rushed me out because he viewed me only as a number and wanted to move on.

Had to go to emergency room many times for catheterization urine blocked. Was always OK afterwards for say 6 months. Dr. Knoll told me I was not eligible for TURP--prostate too big. Nurse suggest give me a catheter for self use but he nixed it. Then I drove screaming in pain to Chilton emergency room at 3 A/M. Lay moaning for half hour before catheterization relieved symptoms. Went for MRI and was told I had an 11 mm kidney stone that had blocked flow. Dr. Knoll stopped by next day and said I had Kidney failure. Then next morning said I didnt have kidney failure. Then he crushed the stone up and flushed it out. He told me that if I had had kidney failure he wouldnt have bothered to take out the stone even though I had had that screaming pain episode. Dr. Google said I could fix everything with greenlight laser surgery. Dr. Knoll never even mentioned that possibility to me. I had the greenlight procedure about 10 days ago, needless to say with another urologist, and everything is fine now. Although staff is nice, Dr. Knoll was always curt and critical and I cant stand him. When I told that to my GP doctor he said everyine tells him the same thing about Knoll. Good riddance!

Dr. Knoll did a poor job analyzing my condition, I was told I had an STD and carried that weight on my shoulders for five months and after two new tests with another doctor, I came to find out that he was wrong. The pain and suffering I went through from his misdiagnosis truly affected my life.

I had a serious procedure with dr knoll and all I can say is that although may of worked still after 3 months too early to tell the experience was a terrible one basically because of the lack of service and concern from him. Basically I was left to fend for myself to learn how to deal with some terrible pain and discomforts post surgery. If he had taken anytime to explain the side effects and what I was going through instead of just saying --you need to rest-- it would of been more bearable. I got more info and explanation from Internet than he ever gave. Bottom line you should not loathe or just not want to ask your doctor for help but that is the case since when you ask he doesnt answer the question with a helpful answer. I will be switching doctors for the future

My first (and last) visit, was VERY disappointed... I had to change urologists because of insurance changes,,,Dr. Knoll literally gave me the 3 minute express checkup. No questions asked, no discussions...I was used to actually talking about issues and concerns with my old urologist. Will be looking for another urologist for my next checkup.

When I was pushed onto Dr. Knoll from his collegue without my consent he was not at all prepared for my first appointment. It was obvious that he was looking at my chart for the first time when he came into the examining room. He was looking at old test results instead of the current ones from a hospitalization. He just kept sending me for tests while I kept producing kidney stones. The last test ordered by him showed a rather large stone that needed to be surgically removed. It took him 2 weeks to get those results to me. I finally found another urologist who knew what he was talking about and had the surgery with him. I am now kidney stone free!!

DR. Levine my dr, retired, Dr knolls (TERRIBLE DOCTOR) took over his practice..had a bladder infection went to see him, my first visit with Knolls. he checked my urine and said i didnt have one, i had burning and pressure he didnt seem to care. he had a nurse take urine from me thru a tub which is usual....this was a Thursday, i left there with nothing for my problem. i had bladder cancer 35 years ago so i sort of know what the normal procedure is. now its saturday and heard nothing from Knolls. went to a med center, they checked me and were shocked that i wasnt treated. they treated me with medication. now its the following thursday and still havent heard anything. I called the office, they said i had no infection. i asked for the report from the lab. when received the report it looked like he made it up. so i wait a year and go for my yearly CYSTO WITH him, knolls...he did mine the year before...it was fine. this year i go and he rushed in did the cyst, i noticed that the sterile water wasnt running into my bladder, he quickly told the nurse to open it up, he then took the cysto prob out, as i go to sit up the pain in my bladder was terrible, i told the nurse i needed to use the restroom, she ran out of the room. i went to the restroom and had hardly any water passing...always in my 35 years of CYSTO i always had a lot of water to pass. now i go home and the discomfort is unbearable,i drank a lot of water for relief....its now almost a week and still having a problem, have called the office twice and was told to drink water. I NOW HAVE A NEW DOCTOR

"Dr Knoll did not know how to solve the problem, and did not offer options. People skills are far below par. He spends very little time with the patient and when I wanted to ask a questions, he was standing in de doorway, on his way out. When I asked to please close the door, he did but was holding the door as he brushed me off and left the room. I am going to the doctor for guidance and advice. ..."

Dr. Knoll told me, a cancer patient, to --get out of my office-- as I was attempting to explain the status of my prostate cancer. It was oddly out of the blue and connected in no way to any provocative words I was using. His mannerisms, way of speaking, body language all suggested strongly to me that the doctor was suffering an illness of some sort, either physical or possibly mental. Please be careful that you are not alone in a room with him. There must be some sort of policing board in medicine to protect the public from complete and total raving lunatics of this sort.

Want to have confidence in him/her and have the feeling that he/she cares about the patient. I felt neither with Dr. Knoll . I met with Dr. Knoll several times so it is not that he just had a bad day. He could take a lesson from his staff, they were very nice and caring!!

I just had a visit with Dr. Abraham Knoll. He is Dr. Seth Levine Partner. Dr. Levine retired and my appointment was followed up with Dr. Abraham Knoll. I was very pleased with Dr. Levine BUT I cannot believe how disappointed I am with Dr. Knoll. He was VERY abrupt, short on words, NO bedside manner and cold. He advised me I should have a biopsy done because he found a nodule. When I said no, I asked him for a follow up appointment. He replied NO! I have had a high PSA number since I am 50. I am now 71 and have had 2 biopsies that proved negative. Dr. Levine was ok with my declining another biopsy and said I was fine. I still feel healthy and have no complaints. I am changing doctors and will get another opinion. I am posting this as a warning to Dr. Abraham Knolls other patients to BEWARE! I will follow up on my posting when I receive an update as to my status. Question: Has anyone ever heard of a Doctor declining to make an appointment when requested by them? I HAVE NOT!

I wouldnt listen to other reviews or the lady at the front desk who told me he was really good. He spent no time with me and has no bedside manner to the point that I felt uncomfortable. He was in and out in 5 minutes after sending an E-script to my pharmacy. He also did not call me back with my results like he said he would.
