A couldnt ask for a better experience with the care of a family member of mine. Diagnostic tests, major surgery, and follow-up care was done with Dr. Gorbonos, and it was all excellent. Im very fortunate that my family member was able to get such a great doctor.

Dr. Gorbonos and his team were exceptional in the treatment and care of my cancerous prostate. From performing the initial biopsy to its removal with state of the art equipment, Dr. Gorbonos was patient and thorough in discussing the diagnosis and treatment options. Im extremely confident in his professional expertise, and appreciate his sincere concern, calm demeanor and wit he showed throughout the process. I wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Gorbonos to anyone seeking urological healthcare.

Thankful to be referred to Dr. Gorbonos for treatment of my bladder cancer. He always takes whatever time is needed to explain the rationale behind any procedures and makes sure that you understand exactly what is going on and what is planned. He has always welcomed my husband and family into any discussions and addresses any questions that they have as well. My surgery was long, but recovery was uncomplicated - always a worry with any surgery, but especially for the one I had.

Dr. Gorbonos Gave me excellent care and saved my kidney and really my life. I had a very complicated surgery he got rid of my cancer and saved my kidney, other Drs said they would have to remove the whole kidney. So very happy I found Dr. Gorbonos!! His follow up was just as incredible.

I cant imagine a better overall surgical experience than what I received with Dr. Gorbonos and his associates at Loyola. He was knowledgeable, thoughtful and considerate. Those are all great attributes, but of minor importance if he wasnt also a great surgeon - which he was! He was able to remove my cancer, which was in a particularly difficult spot on my kidney, save the kidney, and remove enough surrounding tissue to give me great results from pathology. My recovery was incredibly quick and relatively pain-free. I owe a great debt of gratitude to Dr. Gorbonos.

Dr. Gorbonos was my 2nd opinion. The first doctor I consulted recommended a more radical surgery that concerned me. I wanted to fight to save my diseased kidney and Dr. Gorbonos felt he had the skill and I felt his confidence. A patient puts a tremendous amount of trust in his doctor and I followed my gut instinct. My outcome was very positive. I am very fortunate to have surrounded myself with a good doctor and a good hospital. I am doubly fortunate to have strong family and friend support.

The first time when I met Dr. Gorbonos I was is in very bad shape. He was honest with me and told me the truth about my condition. I had a much better experience with him than previously with DuPage Medical group. I felt like he cared about my health and wanted to see me get better. I highly recommend Dr. Gorbonos to anyone who is looking for a good urologist.

Dr. Gorbonos although he looks like kid he certainly has the expertise of a seasoned professional. My 10 hour surgery went extremely well. Dr Gorbonos continued to update my anxious waiting family. He is not only a skilled surgeon but we believe he truly cares about my good outcome. I would recommend him to anyone. He is a step above the rest. Thank you for all of your time and a very good outcome

Dr. Gorbonos did my nephrectomy in 2016. I had a stage 3 level 4 tumor. He successfully removed the kidney and 13 lymph nodes. The surgery left minimal scars. My recovery was great and on schedule. Dr. Gorbonos takes the proper amount of time with his patients, explaining the whole procedure. I am very happy with his care.

I had a major surgery undertaken by Dr. Gorbonos late last year. He was caring, detail, and provide much confidence for me prior to the surgery. He was the second surgeon that had to resolved some unfinished business from the prior surgeon. I wished I had met Dr. Gorbonos earlier and I may have saved my kidney.
