My first appointment with Doctor was excellent. I was directed to the exam room after about ten minutes in the waiting room. The Doctor was cordial, friendly, and seemed sincerely concerned with my condition. After a brief examination she diagnosed my problem as BPH, enlarged prostate. The treatments she prescribed had improved my condition greatly. I recommend her highly.

Dr. Windisch was amazingly helpful. Her staff was very sweet and professional, and they helped me with an issue that I wasnt sure there was any help for- female sexual dysfunction. She listened to my concerns and offered very helpful ideas and actions. Overall, my experience was wonderful!

She is a good doctor, but visits to her office can be quite frustrating because of the stuff. The phone line can be busy all the time, nobody answers even if it is before closing time, nobody reads email, they wont return your phone, etc. A receptionist blamed problems I had on a nurse who --left--, but I do not think it was that simple. They even forgot to have a cytology test of my urine sample, and I had a bladder tumor. They never gave me a straight answer why it happened, and had to corner them when I did not hear anything about the test result after three weeks. Dr. Windisch listened to my concern, and I do not undervalue her advice. But frankly, it is too expensive just to chat with her for 5 min. when the major thing did not get done. Also scheduling can be a mess, too.

I am delighted to know Dr. Win dish has returned to the Bluegrass! I have suffered with interstitial cystitis for yrs., been to several Urologists. Dr. Win dish is the only doctor that did a thorough exam internally without horrible pain. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her. Thank God she is back!

I would not recommend this doctor. After 10 minutes of speaking with me decided I needed surgery. No other options given. No help with prevention of future problems. No explanation for prolonged pain and recovery time. Yawned through most of my last visit then left the room and never returned.

I didnt do well with this dr. She didnt listen to me and insisted I had overactive bladder which I didnt have. She gave me a weird diet to follow, really bizarre, and some pills that made me much worse. She may be fine for some but for me it was a disaster.

Her staff, espically her LPN Robyn should be seriously watched for giving out misinformation, practicing medicine, dx patients illness. No one, including MD took any of my medical hx into consideration. Also, additional charges to my insurance for procedures and medication not given.

Incompetent. Dishonest. Could care less for the true well being of patients. Was observed on her cell phone in an operating room, while doctors administered wrong medications to patient. Poor hygiene. She is a smoker, and reaks of smoke and bad perfume used to cover up. Run.

I visited Dr. Windisch with minor-moderate concerns after a referral from my general practitioner. Though I communicated a preference for a non-medication route of investigation, she immediately prescribed a medication that aggravated my symptoms considerably. When I communicated the increased severity, she moved me to an alternative medication for the same assumptive diagnosis. The alternative further aggravated the symptoms. During this time it became apparent to me that the cause of my symptoms was kidney stones which are present in my medical history. After visiting urgent care and the ER within two weeks, Dr. Windisch continued to insist that stones were not the issue and continued exploratory treatment (including surgery) in a different direction. During this office consultation, I was in tears due to her lack of understanding, condescending bedside manner and a general feeling of patient helplessness. She yawned several times during this conversation and was not open to my questions. After going home and looking further into Dr. Windischs medical history/feedback online, I very easily found several other reviews from her experience in KY that sounded exactly like my experience. They were so similar that family members thought I wrote the reviews, not noticing the date/location. I changed providers and passed a large stone prior to any additional treatment. This experience cost my family alot of frustration and caused a loss of work as we experimented with medications and managed bouts of enormous pain. My intention in posting is to help others educate themselves before having such an experience, particularly as Dr. Windisch is new to the Columbus area.
