Dr. Selzman and his staff are top notch and I am glad that he was here to do my vasectomy. If you are considering a vasectomy his staff will make sure you are taking care of.

I have been seeing Dr. Andrew Selzman for several years, and consider myself lucky to have him as a physician. He is a knowledgeable no nonsense Doctor who will tell you the facts as they are. He listens and answers questions when asked.
His Staff too, especially Kathrin and JP are most helpful and pleasant to deal with, I actually look for to visiting his office to be able to see them.
I would recommend him to friends and family.

I have seen Dr Selzman for over 10 years. He did a wonderful job with my surgery and is very personable. I think all doctors should take a lesson from Dr Selzmans bed side manner. I would rate him as the best Doctor I have seen.

I've been a patient of Dr Selzman for about 13 years. He was the surgeon who operated on me for prostate cancer. From the very beginning as well as after the surgery until the present time he has taken excellent care of me. I feel that I owe my life to Dr Selzman for the excellent job he performed with my surgery. There are so many nerves that can be damaged in a surgery like this that can seriously degrade your daily life even if the cancer was successfully removed. But I've been cancer free and can function normally since the surgery 13 years ago. I'm so grateful and words really don't express how much.

Dr. Selzman did a great job when I needed cancer surgery. Great bedside manner, direct and to the point.

I have used Dr. Selzman to help treat my kidney stones for over 15 years and I love him & his office staff!

Dr. Selzman is not entertaining any questions on his proposed procedure, very little patience to explain his diagnostic and alternative procedures available. Having consulting with another urologist, my concerns were confirmed, that Dr. Selzman proposed procedure was far too aggressive. Not only he is very unpleasant, but also do not seems to have any compassion for his patients. He his only pushing to perform expensive and aggressive procedures. This urologist should be avoided.

I was disappointed in how long it took from the time I first saw Dr Selzman until the lithotripsy took place. I was in great pain, but no one in his office seemed to care, other than to suggest pain meds. Eventually, the lithotripsy broke the large stone into fragments which passed along with the pain.

Competent but not a caring physician. Needs training on seeing patients through a procedure and addressing their concerns

His prostatic operation on me was a total failure. His explanation was --sh...t happens-- and --Im not a tarot reader--. He had a nurse who was a total ignorant. She told me that I had to use a catheter for the rest of my life! I saw another doctor, Dr, Samuel Axelrad, who performed a very successful operation on me and I have never used a catheter since. This Selzman doctor should not treat any patient.

I am retired . I am going to be brutally honest about this Dr. He don’t care about people. He cares about money. He did not only looked stressed to me but also tired and very unhappy. Appearance was not of a professional. I was in he’s office approximately an hour and a half to have an examination that lasted less then 2 min. The practice It’s an assembly line concerned about quantity. Not quality care for people. I immediately cancelled the follow-up in the office surgery he had scheduled. Sorry Doc. It is what it is.

Dr. Selzman, did not show any interest in his patient, questions and clarification of the risks and consequences of his proposed procedure. His main motivation was to impose his unilateral choice of procedure, without any other consideration. I consequently decided to seek two other opinions from well reputed urologist, out of state and in Houston, both confirmed my feeling that the Dr. Selzman proposed procedure was too aggressive and not necessary in my case. In consulting Dr. Selzman report on all the tests he did, many aspects were erroneous and seems to have been filed in in advance and were out of context. I will never consult Dr. Selzman again, he is to be avoided.

After getting a 2nd opinion on the primary problem that I went to Dr Selzman for, I realize that he dropped the ball with my treatment. There was an additional problem identified during my treatment and Dr. Selzman's response was to start me on a medication and say "Come back in 3-4 months." After researching the medication, I realized that Dr. Selzman did not order several important lab tests in order to establish baseline values for important labs that need to be monitored while on this medication.

Trust me...save yourself a lot of time and trouble by avoiding this doctor. HIs horrible office staff being verbally rude to patients in front of a waiting room full of patients has been going on for YEARS! I witnessed this years ago taking my Dad for cancer treatment and more recently with my husband. He needs a complete office overhaul...he has to know how horrible his staff is.

In spite of the fact he's an excellent surgeon, Selzman does not spend NEARLY enough time evaluating individual patient needs. He has a knee-jerk biopsy approach to even slightly elevated PSA when the best approach is to evaluate over two or three tests for consistently high readings. Each biopsy carries its own element of risk, ranging from minor discomfort to intense pain, infection, hospitalization and on rare occasions, death.
I do not recommend him for this reason.

He cares much more about money than he does your health. He has little time for you and his answer to almost all conditions is 'biopsy'. Do your homework.

Was referred to Dr. Selzman by another doctor after he reviewed results of sonogram. Dr. Selzman seemed to have cared less and made me feel as though I had no business being there. It was a waste of my time and his. Did not appreciate his comments. It's odd to me that one doctor cared enough for me to seek additonal care and Dr. Selzman was not concerned whatsoever.

"Find another Doctor. Failed vasectomy and when return for 2nd operation, demanded additional payment. Office manager Toisha Parker was combative, acknowledged their error but demanded to payment. Do not
Recommend - I’ll take my business to a company/organization that takes pride in their service and stands behind the quality of their Doctors vs hiding behind documents. "

Went to visit him as a specialist on a pain I had lower abdomen, as I family doctor advised. Setting appointment was ok, had to wait 45 minutes to get to his nurse. She sat me in one of the offices and left me for 15-20 minutes without giving me a clue and then she said that had a procedure! Dr. seemed to have a good overall rating, but did not really examine me and said I had to CAT scan. With all discomfort I had, he said, we will see everything from scan and no worries. Well, one week after the scan, I called and asked why no one cared less to let me know what the results were. Dr, had gone to vacation and did his nurse. After returning, I called and the Nurse emailed me the report from CAT SCAN specialist and said that everything is fine! I wanted to talk to Dr. and asked for the next step as my discomfort was there! She said I had to call and set another appointment! (Basically pay the money) I felt bad since he did not feel responsible to call me and reassure me, he knew that he did not examine me at all and just postpone the examination until Scan results would show!! I am not going to him no more, I will go to someone if he charges you money; at least feel responsible to follow up!!!!! I think the nurse was rude too!
