Dr Pinon removed my kidney due to cancer & hes followed up with me for years. Couldnt possible receive any better care than Ive received with him.

Always on time. High-energy office, fast-paced. High-quality, professional medical staff. Dr. Piñon is one of the finest physicians I’ve had in my lifetime and for me well worth the 70 mile drive. Love and greatly respect his clear and direct communication style. Disability accessible parking at the Kendall office can be challenging; excellent disability access at the Homestead office.

Dr Pinon exhibited great care and patience explaining the issues and options to my father. Everyone in office very helpful/ and professionalHighly recommend - he is the doctor other doctors go to when they have an urology issue. That alone is a great recommendation

Dr Pinon removed a kidney after I was diagnosed with cancer in 2008. He has followed me religiously since that time & I believe hes helped to keep me in remission. Ive now moved to Central Florida & hoping I can find another urologist like Dr Pinon.

Dr Pinon, operated on me after a serious blunt trauma accident. I WAS ABLE TO FATHER 5 CHILDREN WHEN other qualified Urologists told my wife and I we would never be able to have our own. I AM WITH MY TWO GRANDCHILDREN AS I WRITE THIS !!!!. Dr Pinon is a EXCELLENT MEDICAL SPECIALIST, PROFESSIONAL UNDERSTANDING AND VERY CAPABLE. I AM GREATEFUL FOR HIS CARE AND COMPASSION, THANK YOU DR. PINON....

I arrived on time for a confirmed appointment to be told by the Dr. Pinon himself at reception that I should have known to be there 15 minutes earlier. He actually asked me if I would arrive to the airport at the time of my scheduled flight. Even though I was on time for the previously confirmed scheduled time, with completed forms and lab results, he said he was not interested. That I would have to understand that with the patients he has now, he doesnt get home until after 7:00. The appointment was for 3:30. I left my job, having to have someone cover the care of my special needs students to get there on time. I believe however that he may have done me a favor, as I do not want this overly stressed out Dr. to oversee my health care. Take a deep breathe Doc!

Dr pinion was rude and arrogant. screaming at nurses and patients. terrible temper tantrums. no trust for this doctor. he needs to be on some strong medications

Este señor me practicó cirugía green light laser hace como dos años,fue tanto lo que perforó que aún hoy en dia sigo usando pamper porque no puedo controlar la orina...es un abusador...me desgració la vida..

La recepcionista muy buen trato y muy profesional, pero el médico me dió un trato muy grosero, mi referido llegó tarde por eso no pude llegar media hora antes de la cita como el exige , llegué 20 minutos antes de mi appoitment se negó a atenderme me dijo despectivamente que las reglas de su casa las ponía él y que eso no era una clínica cubana,y que si quería quedarme a esperar que lo hiciera pero que podía pasar hasta 20 pacientes (--clientes--) antes que yo , que el se levantaba todos los días a las 6 de la mañana , yo le expliqué que yo no podía llegar hasta que me confirmarán que el referido había sido enviado, y que yo no me había quedado durmiendo y por eso había llegado 10 minutos tarde, y que había tenido que gastar dinero para llegar allí pero nada le importó me hizo sentir muy mal , me dijo que habían solo 4 Urólogos en su grupo porque nadie quería venir para este pueblo, me imagino refiriéndose a Miami, y también como yo le insistí para ver si me podía ver, me dijo :y si me hace enojar es peor. Es una pena que la medicina una profesión tan altruista y linda tenga dentro de sus filas a personas con tan poca calidad humana, ojalá reflexione y comienze a tener mejor trato al paciente esa consulta no es de gratis y el que va al médico es porque lo necesita no por lujo ni porque le guste gastar dinero en visitar al médico.

Egotistical doctor who appears to care less about patient treatment. He was loud, obnoxious and verbally abusive. Waited over an hour to see a doctor for 5 minutes. Have to schedule second appointment for ultrasound. How rediculous. My reason for for visit was kidney stones. I CAME FOR THE ULTASOUND. wHAT IDIOTS

Horrible and unprofessional. Don’t put your health in the hands of these rude and incompetent so called “ medical professionals.”! All they want from you is your co pay and insurance. If you enjoy having your name yelled out into the office, hearing combative conversations with other patients, a doctor that demeans you , then enjoy yourself because that’s what you will experience. Never go here!

Terrible physician, rude, disrespectful, non empathic and pompous. This man hates his job, is more concerned about what he is going to bring home to his family (meaning covid) than anything else. He treats patients disgustingly. Mind you, it was first visit. You would think he would be on his A game so he could bill for the appointment and future appointments. But, on the contrary, he seemed angry about insurances, said that he doesn’t recommend several procedures because insurances never cover. He said he was old enough to know how insurance work, they tell you it’s covered and then it’s not. We all know careers become a business, but at least “pretend” to care for your patients. This man deserves more than just one malpractice claim. If you don’t believe me, go on... schedule an appointment with him. I’m sure I’ll read the posts later.

The staff is rude and nasty to the elderly, I saw it for an hour waiting for my elderly parents appointment. To make matters worse the so called doctor is rude and nasty and you cant have a conversation with him. He screams and be rates like i have never experienced in my life. STAY AWAY!

This doctor is unprofessional. He spoke poorly about his staff to me during our first visit. It should have warned me about his attitude. His staff was always confused and unprepared when I called with questions or to confirm my appointment for a procedure. He cancelled a procedure when I arrived at the appointment time. Then rudely told me that he had things to do and he dosent know who or why I was scheduled as I was. Apparently the long weekend was more important than patient care! I left rather than being subjected to a angry and rude doctor with a scalpel. I do not recommend him to anyone. His staff even let me know of better urologists I could go to under their breath when I left.

Hace aproximadamente 11 meses fui sometido a una cirugia con rayo laser[green light laser prostate surgery]por este doctor Avelino Pinon,a los dos dias de la cirugia fui a la clinica para que me retiraran el catete,retirado este la fluides de la orina sin control era enorme,al plantearle esta situacion al doctor Pinon su respuesta fue...apriete el pene y pongaselo hacia arriba gordo...desde aquel entonces sigo usando pampers sin poder controlar el flujo urinario....esta situacion me ha llevado a una depresion extraordinaria..hubiese preferido un disparo de shotgum por el pecho a este proseso aplicada por una persona irresponsable y falta de seriedad...

This doctor is rude to patients and his staff. He treats his patients as cattle and speeds through appointments. His method of answering questions is giving the patient a pamphlet and leaving the exam room. He just cares about how much he can bill. I dont recommend this Urologist to anyone. I left his office just in time to not have a rushed procedure with an annoyed doctor. He dosent respect patients.

Having nightmares about my situation with BPH, I finally came to the conclusion I need to see a professional Urologist who cares about patients and that I will feel confident the future treatment I was going to receive was going to be without a doubt satisfactory. I made an appointment for the earliest date which was a month ahead. I decided to read his ratings and I was shocked about all his patients who rated him with a lonely star!, specially the patient who had the green laser (PVP) procedure which I was to consider for myself. Thank you all who rated this Doctor. I cancelled my appointment.

"Accompanied my elderly parent for a follow up visit to ask about the side affects of a prescribed medication. The staff is mean and rude to the elderly and the doctor screams and berates you for asking questions . This is officially the worst experience of my life with a doctor. I am still in shock, do no let anyone in your family go to this office.. "

This doctor is the rudest, nastiest most demeaning person I have ever met in my life! I accompanied my elderly parent for a follow up visit and I was screamed like never before, because I asked about the side affects of a prescribed medication. The office staff treats the elderly like garbage also. DO NOT ALLOW ANYONE IN YOUR FAMILY TO SEE THIS GUY.

This man is rude, pompous, hysterical, and angry. He hates his career and has temper tantrums in front of his patients. He’s a quick tempered man, that is clearly not doing too well mentally. Her should surrender to a psychiatrist already. Hope the medical board treats you well.
