Dr. Apaydin is the Best!

Seeing the negative reviews posted about Dr. Apaydin just has me baffled-I in no way shape or form have ever experienced any negativity from this doctor. He was extremely through and very caring. He answered all of my questions and was very kind. I highly recommend this doctor if you are having any urinary issues. Probably waited 15 minutes to enter his office but that seems pretty regular.

Dr. Apaydin was the best urologist I had when I lived in Monterey. I had been to several urologists for multiple Kidney stones. It was Apaydin who finally solved the root cause so i would no longer get stones.

Ive had 4 kidney stones now and each with a different Urologist. Im SOOOO glad I found Dr. Apaydin. He solved the root cause of the problem. Also both he and his staff were courteous, quick, and very helpful. Dr. Apaydin has purchased a lot of his own equipment not so he can make more money, but so he can better serve his patients, quicker, and at a lower cost. (He was able to treat me immediatly when my other urologist was waiting to share equipment). Dr. Apaydin actually sees doctering as being able to help people rather than just get them in and out and get paid. Im so impressed by Dr. Apaydin and his Staff! Thank you!

I went in because of an elevated PSA count which could indicate prostate cancer. I got the initial check up and was told I would need a biopsy and that I would be called with the schedule. I waited 8 days and called the office. The scheduler said --I was going to call you.-- I red the poor reviews before I went to this doctors office and I went anyway. I agree with all the poor reviews now that I have had one office visit. Im not going back.

Wait of almost an hour for a scheduled appointment. Partner retired a year ago but name still on the sign. Asked for urology sample and noticed several full sample bottles in the restroom with no sterile prcautions. Sample never examined or discussed. Brief new patient consultation with no exam. Recommended cystoscopy procedure. Which we declined. Other patients found references to Medical Board sanctions and Payment of 1 million + to settle Medicare false claims act allegations. Suggest care in using this provider

Google Aytac Apaydin. He’s up to no good with the law! Beware... he will say and do anything to get you to get radiation treatment even after a prostatectomy he performs himself???

I was recently seen at SVMH for a large kidney stone that needed urgent surgical care. Dr Apydin was the only Urologist on staff & I 100% refused to be seen by him. I would rather leave the hospital in agony & pain before being a pt of his. He has treated my husband, a co-worker & a family member in a span of 2years & everyone has had a negative experience. From multiple procedures, to extended (very) appointment wait times (over packed waiting room) & dates, (i.e. 3-5 weeks out). He zooms in & out of the exam room like you are an inconvenience & babbles on like YOU are supposed to know what is supposed to be the next step in your care. (Experience w/my spouse) I would never recommend this Dr. if my life depended on it. I was seen at another Urologist office.. kidney stone issue taken care of w/in one week. Unlike anyone I personally have talked to under Dr. Apydin’s care.

He is always in a hurry and makes you feel rushed during your visit. Not to mention his staff is very RUDE and INSULTING! I would rather die than to go back to his office again.

I would not recommend Dr Apaydin - my mother was only recommended bcz she was in the hospital & she was to follow up w/him. The hospital told her when she was released to show the next day - when getting there - their receptionist was undelightful & rude (wish i could remember her name - trust me you will know)she doesnt greet you or smiles. They said we didnt have an appointment - told the receptionist that the hospital called it in - when upon meeting with Dr Apaydin he was so busy that he rushed out of his office when I still had questions for my mother (she is 83 yrs old)I wasnt about to just hand over my mother to a doctor - who calls himself a doctor...no patience at all - he was already standing up & walking toward his door. I couldnt believe it! Guess that was the end of our session - what was the point of a consultation. Dr Apaydin was not a caring doctor - no sympathy for the elderly - definetly would not recommend him.

I was referred to DR A by my PCP for Rx of prostate ca. He referred me to his radiation center without ever discusing that it was his and that there were other options. Afte talking with folks on the internet I found that surgery was a better option for me and my particular issues. He wouldnt even talk to me about surgery. What a crook

I was refered to Dr Apaydin when I was diagnosed with kidney stones. After the initial visit with him I ended up with 5 different surgical procedures in 2 months!! The stones are still there I have regular pain! The Billing staff was awful and did not do as they stated with non provider ins. The head billing person reassured they would only take what the ins paid. Not true!!! I have a 50,000 bill that I will never be able to pay!!!! My credit is ruined!!! I will never go back!!!
