Dr.Adams makes you feel very comfortable during your checkup.I highly recommend him as your doctor.

I received excellent care under this doctors supervision.He ran a test on me and explained what the results were so that I could easily understand everything going on. I was given a prescription to help remedy my condition, and so far it seems to be working. I would and will highly recommend Dr. Adams to any male I know who may be experiencing any male health problems.

Everyone is really friendly and have smiles on. Dr. Adams listens to you and dont rush you through and answers all your questions and makes sure you understand everything.

I appreciated the honesty and demeanor of Dr. Adams and felt his prognosis for treatment was excellent. He answered all questions I had and provided for follow-up treatment that I felt made sense. I feel confident he will be upfront about the treatment I should follow in the future and look forward to further meetings.

I was very apprehensive before my visit to Dr. Adams. A previous experience with a urologist about 15 years ago was not a good experience (lousy personality & very rough with examination). Dr. Adams exam was not a horrible experience & his explanation of my condition was factual & informative, and not presented in an alarming way. Dr. Adams demeanor was very pleasant & he fairly quickly put me at ease. He was eager to answer any of my questions. I feel Dr. Adams diagnosis was accurate and my condition appears to be improving. I will definitely return to Dr. Adams for checkups. I highly recommend him.

Dr. Adams is very nice and easy to work with especially as often as I have to work with him. He is easy going. The staff is friendly and getting in to see Dr. Adams is very easy and I can get in to see him as soon as I need to see him especially if Im having problems. I have recurring and chronic kidney stones and not small ones, big ones requiring surgery.

Yearly X-ray and recheck went without a hitch. All staff, facility and Dr. Adams were, as always, cordial and helpful. Dr. Adams was thorough, delved into any problems that may have arisen since last year, asked and answered questions to ensure I was ok. I didnt feel rushed and was put at ease during the appointment. Dr. Adams made sure I was rescheduled for my next appointment in a year. He is a kind and compassionate doctor.

Dr. Adams treated me and my family with the utmost care and courtesy. He explained in easy to understand terms the status of my medical situation and answered all of our questions. I was very impressed by the way he gave us as much time as we needed to process the information he shared and then allowed us time to decide whether or not we had any questions. There was no pressure of sense of rush-rush during the meeting. Furthermore, when Dr. Adams called on November 8th to let me know the results of my ultrasound, he once again gave me and my family all of the time we needed to formulate any questions we might have. I was most impressed that he personally called me - this is a level of care that I do not often receive. I am very grateful for all that has been and continues to be done for me. All staff members have done above and beyond the call of duty in their dealing with us. They are friendly, courteous, and very knowledgeable. Thank you for all of your help and care. Raymond Crabb

I had an ultrasound of my kidneys previously and Dr Adams gave me the results. He said that everything looked good and that the one kidney (which had a cyst) was functioning properly. The cyst had not changed since it was found. He also checked and found an enlarged prostate and prescribed two medications for that. He was very thorough and helpful.

I had recently had a surgery (in another specialty) which left me with some minor complications. Dr Adams listened to my concerns and answered all my questions. He gave me guidance on my options and also shared what to expect from my experience. I was mostly concerned with whether my current symptoms were going to be temporary and of short duration, longer lasting, or permanent. He was very helpful in putting my mind at ease and offering advice on what path to take to be absolutely sure of my condition.

Dr. Adams placed a ureter stent that was constricted due to scar tissue from previous surgeries. He is a very kind and caring doctor who does a great job in ensuring that you understand the procedure needed, options that might be available and how the procedure will go. He demonstrates a great deal of patience while working with you. He clearly cares about his patients and what is best for them. He has a great demeanor, a great sense of humor, and is a highly skilled doctor. My procedure went flawlessly and I had absolutely no pain. The entire staff was friendly, helpful, caring, and made sure that my experience with the outpatient procedure went easily. I highly recommend Dr. Adams as well as the entire staff at the Surgical Center and Mason City Clinic.

We love Dr. Adams and his nursing staff - they have been great!. Scheduling is sometimes difficult as there are only certain times the girls can schedule and there has been some scheduling conflicts but girls at the reception areas work very hard at trying to accommodate and we certainly appreciate that.

I was treated quickly and successfully for my kidney stone . Dr Adams was great to explain the procedure thoroughly so I could understand everything. Follow up instructions were also very well explained and if I had a question I had a call back within the hour.

My bladder surgery was during Covid shut down April 2020. It was same day surgery. All of the nurses and Dr Adams were excellent and care was very good during a difficult time

Simply in and out. Found humor in his straining to keep a staight face when asking him a question he hasn\\t fielded before. I did however received an honest answer. Dr. Adams has always answered question and prescribe treatment for my family and myself. We are very glad to have him as my caretaker.

This was a follow-up visit re: treatment plan for prostrate cancer. At Dr. Adams suggestion I had visited with radiologist for more information and decided to do the hormone/radiology treatment (radiologist had communicated with Dr. Adams re: my decision). Dr. Adams was frank and very informative, as per his usual approach (which I greatly appreciate).

Dr. Adams scoped my bladder. It was a followup to a procedure that he had done for me in November. In November he saw a spot on my bladder which he didnt think was cancerous but indicated at that time that he would repeat the procedure in either February or March which is what this was. The spot was still there so he did a biopsy to make sure. He thinks it is negative but will let me know.

I was in for a follow up concerning my previous PSA score and the results were excellent as the current PSA score was excellent and there was no need for a follow up until one year. Dr. Adams is a very professional physician and I appreciate his thoughts concerning my prognosis and what should be done in the future. Would gladly recommend him to other patients having similar issues.

Dr Adams had done a prostate TURP on me in June for BPH symptoms and wanted to do a PSA in 6 months. Even though my circumstance didnt have any cancer issues he wanted to do the PSA to see where I was at. Everything was fine and he said I didnt need to come back for a prostate screening for another 2 years. I have enjoyed all interactions that I have had with Dr Adams as he is thorough and very straight forward in his approach. As he walked me out to the receptionists desk he also wished me a Merry Christmas which I thought was a very nice touch. RY

This was my first time meeting Dr. Adams. He truly was amazing. He took the time to listen to what I had to say and was very reassuring in his plan of treatment for me. He also made me feel like my issues mattered and scheduled follow up appointments and told me to call any time with questions or concerns. Over all great experience!

Doctor Adams is a very good doctor. He is through in his examination and very honest with the results. When one theory doesnt pan out, he trys something else. I feel that he will find a solution for my medical problems soon. I really like him as my doctor. He knew I was nervous about the possibility of having cancer. When he found out that it wasnt cancer, he called me personally. I was impressed !

My son was referred to Dr.Adams by his primary provider. Dr. Adams did not even review my sons record before entering room. He was unaware of why my son was referred to him. My son questioned him a few times and told Dr Adams why he was referred to him. Dr. Adams did not answer his questions. He was in his office for 7 minutes and did absolutely nothing for him. We have tried numerous times to contact him and ask him to follow up with him with questions. His primary provider did as well.
It has been 9 days and 5 phone calls and still no follow up. I would highly recommend you see a different provider that cares and wants to help people with their concerns and not go to this one.
