"Dr. Wood was an awesome doctor. He saved my life in 2014 by surgery removing a kidney with renal cell carcinoma tumor. His intelligence, knowledge and confidence was obvious from the moment we met. His demeanor, bedside manor were equal to his authentic interest in his patients and helping them survive cancer. I cannot thank him enough but will remember him always. RIP sir and know your patients ..."

Great surgeon and physician. Brilliant and competent yet compassionate. If you have kidney cancer you will not find better care anywhere.

Dr. Wood was an awesome doctor. He saved my life in 2014 by surgery removing a kidney with renal cell carcinoma tumor. His intelligence, knowledge and confidence was obvious from the moment we met. His demeanor, bedside manor were equal to his authentic interest in his patients and helping them survive cancer. I cannot thank him enough but will remember him always. Dr. Wood is a brilliant, compassionate physician. I am grateful that my husband was referred to Dr. Wood by our local urologist.

Dr. Wood, the staff, and MD Anderson in general are wonderful. I had a open radical nephrectomy of the right kidney in 2012. This was to remove a stage 2, grade 3 RCC. I am grateful everyday and after every follow-up that shows No Evidence of Disease, that I chose Dr. Wood.
