The Gainesville phone number is hard to get thru to. I was on hold for over 16 minutes. I love Dr. Gaddy and his staff. I just wish he was easier to call.

I like Dr Gaddy. Professional and to the point. Somewhat dry but definitely a since of humor. His staff is through and complete. Would recommend him to those that need his type of care.

Leaving msg for staff is usless. The nusre may or may not get to you. They are all over worked and under staffed.If they dont have time to answer the phone they are very able to make big mistakes because they are too busy. Go some where else.

Kept me informed of tests beong done. explained test and results in detail. gives me plenty of time to ask questions and takes time to answer. Has been considerate, polite and informative. I would recommend him highly.

I was referred by a trusted and skilled physician, and despite not having heard the best about this practive, I took my doctors advice and went anyway. The wait time was appalling; Ive waited less in crowded ERs, and this office was NOT crowded in any way. Wait was well over an hour, and the few other patients present were voicing their dismay as well. Dr. Gaddy invested perhaps an entire five minutes in my visit, did NOT preform a full exam, suggested a scope and CT, and simply did not listen to me at all. The samples he provided me were for Toviax, which is contraindicated in my case. One dose later, and I am already having side effects and will not be able to take the meds. Further, he did not request my records or test results, nor did his office inform me that I should bring anything with me (despite having mailed me the paperwork a week earlier). This would necessitate another visit (and of course, another charge), were I foolish enough to go there again. To top it off, the receptionist failed to charge me my co-pay (as much my fault as I was so flustered from the poor treatment that it did not cross my mind), and the office appends a $10 fee for making delayed payments. She also did not ask me to sign the records release waivers, nor did she make the effort to set up the cystoscopy the doc requested. Dr. Gaddy himself made no effort to discuss the procedure with me in any way, did not offer any other options or suggestions, and I awoke in greater pain this morning from the Toviax samples than I was in before I saw the man. I should have listened to other reviewers who stated this practice was staffed by disinterested and less than professional staff and stayed away. Lesson learned; I would not recommend these folks to anyone.

I am an ex-patient of Dr. Gaddy. Hes nice enough when you finally get in to see him, and thats the reason I went to another urologist. The shortest time I waited to see him was over an hour. It was an afternoon appointment so I decided I would make my next appointment in the morning, hoping to see him at my appointment time. I arrived at 8:30 for my appointment and didnt see him until after 10. My next appointment I set for 1:30. I got in to see him at 4:50! He spent maybe 10 minutes with me. When I left he told me to see his staff person to make another appointment. I walked out and his staff had already gone for the day. He and his staff are nice folks, but I just couldnt get over an average wait time of almost 2 hours after my appointment time. I opted to move to another urologist.

Staff didnt know what to charge me on first visit. Didnt know how much my recommended CAT scan would be. I got the cat scan and have been waiting 2 weeks to get the results. I have called the office multiple times only to get multiple excuses. They either cant find my file or the dr hasnt signed off on them yet depending on who I talk to. I am getting a copy of the scan from the imaging center and going to another doctor. RIDICULOUS.

If I could give a zero I would. The office staff is very very rude and does exactly what they want to do, which is nothing. They do not know how to schedule appointments at all. They scheduled and cancelled 2 STAT appointments and then had the nerve to wonder why I am pissed off. I live 70 miles away and have to take my mother to her doctors appointments, which means taking off from work and rearranging my schedule at home, to fit my mother appointments in. Then to have them call and cancel every time because they are over booked or scheduled it on a day he has to perform surgery on patients at the hospital. Then had the audacity to call when the surgery fell thru and told my mother to come on to the doctors office because he now has the time available to see her. What a *&$#*&#$ crock of #&*$$. This office should be shut down due to incompetence alone. If the office staff gets away with this, what will the doctor, that’s their boss, do to my mother. Well I am not giving them the chance to do anything to my mother and I am glad I found out about their incompetence, before my mother had a chance to even be seen by the doctor. The way she has been treated ( or actually not treated at all ) is shameful and I WOULD NOT recommend this DOCTOR and HIS STAFF to NO ONE!

"When you get a referral to a specialist that means there is a problem. Not only did we sit for an hour explaining the issues to Dr. Gaddy, he then proceeds to say that there is nothing he can do. YOU"RE THE SPECIALIST!!!!!! that's your job to figure it out. You sir are a sorry excuse for a Dr. I will continue to slam your name around to everyone in the medical community. I WAS REFERRED TO DR. GADDY BY THE VA. I CALLED SEVERAL TIMES TO GET INFORMATION REGARDING STATUS OF MY PENDING PAPERWORK FROM THE VA. THE GREETING WAS NOT A FRIENDLY WELCOME BUT MORE OF A ROUTINE, --WHAT DO YOU WANT-- PERSONALITY. MORE THAN TWO WEEKS LATER WHEN I CALLED AGAIN (3RD x), I WAS TOLD, --DR. GADDY SAYS, HE DOESNT HANDLE THAT.-- I FELT SO UNWELCOME AND THAT WOMANS, WHO ANSWERS THE PHONE. ATTITUDE NEEDS TO CHANGE ZERO GREETINGS ATTITUDE. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE FOR A VIETNAM VETERAN. M. My husband went to see this doctor, who said he had a stricture and used a metal rod to clear it out. This doctor TOOK A PHONE CALL and left my husband with the rod in him, which was excruciatingly painful. What kind of a doctor does that. He was gone for 5 minutes and I went outside to see what was going on and he was having pleasant chat with a buddy of his. And his diagnosis was wrong anyway. The procedure did nothing to help my husband.

Very vague on results; we had to ask the specific questions regarding test results, etc before getting any answers. It felt as though he didn't even know why we were there even though this was a follow up to previous visits and tests.

By far the worst experience with a specialist..SPECIALIST!!! Not only did I get the courage to even go to him, I sat for quite some time explaining to him my issues. No physical exam nothing. To be told there is nothing that can be done...um, how do you know nothing can be done...you did no exam, no bloodwork, NOTHING you are a joke of a --SPECIALIST-- and then charged me $190.
