I have been a patient of Cosmo Gomez for over 7 years. In the field of urology he is top notch. The only thing better than his skills is how he treats his patients. He takes the time to listen and makes sure you understand every test he might run. I am very lucky to have this physician. His office staff is extremely friendly and if you ever need a surgeon,they are located within the group.

I began seeing Dr. Gomez and he found what in years other doctors had not seen. My entire family sees him now and I honestly wish that all doctors were like him. He takes his time, and never makes you feel like you’re in an assembly line. You feel human and cared for. I couldn’t ask for anything more.

STAFF SHOULD BE MORE FRIENDLY AND COURTEUS, AND PATIENT SHOULD NEVER WAIT SO LONG AFTER YOU ARRIVE ON TIME AND WAIT SOMETIMES AN HOUR TO BE SEEN BY THE DR.AND ONLY SPEND 5 MINUTES WITH THE PATIENT

I switched from one doctor after seeing him for about three years without any remedy to my ailment. Ive been seeing Dr. Gomez for about four months and have experienced greater relief than in the three years with the previous doctor. I enthusiastically recommend Dr. Gomez.

With 23 years in the practice, this specialist sure knows his stuff. Not only was he incredibly warm and genuine, but his vast knowledge on urology allowed me to trust him fully. His staff is also exceptional-from the young lady who called to remind me of my appointment to the young lady who gave me my prescription on the way out- great experience!

Dr. Gomez is truly wonderful. I appreciate his kindness, and manners as he takes his time to ask questions about myself to give a holistic viewpoint on healing the root problems. Every other MD you have long waits to see them for 3 minutes while they prescribe you a pharmaceutical. This has caused me years of health problems. I wish all Doctors could be like Dr. Gomez and we’d have a healthier society!

If you are looking for a doctor who does things the natural way and is very knowledgeable in what he does seek no more because Dr. Cosme Gómez is the best and I love how he always seeks to go the natural way when it comes to products that are good and natural medicine so if you find a doctor like this stick with him!

Dr. Cosme Gomez is extremely knowledgeable, patient and caring. He engaged me in a substantive conversation regarding my health and medical treatments pertinent to my condition. If you have to go to an urologist make sure you make Dr. Gomez your physician of choice. Additionally, the staff is well trained, professional and empathetic.

I am seeing Dr. Gomez for kidney stone treatment since 2017 and I am very satisfied with him and his office staff. It’s a busy practice but the appointment is always on time, they phone you when you are due for a test and their Urology Portal is excellent.

Dr. Cosme Gomez change my way of life, medication has prescribed me its working as he told me last year, Dr.Gomez called it --A Plan-- its been A Perfect Plan. My visit was good everyone in the office was helpful. My only complaint when one of the assistance brought me consent to sign and it have another Person name but my date of birth. I have to pointed to her this wrong. Her answer was I am sorry is just been a busy day and scratch the name and put me. The room was no ready for them to the ct scan someone else came in and clean while she ask me to step to the side. I feel it should have been ready. I was one of the last patients I felt as is everyone was in a rush to go home.

Dr. Gomez is a highly competent doctor and surgeon. His office staff, however, turned my son away from his post-op follow-up because he couldnt cover the co-pay, even though it was clear that I (mom) was the insured party and had already signed responsibility for costs not covered by insurance. I cannot recommend a doctor that allows a surgery patient to go without post-surgery follow-up.

I have known Dr. Cosme Gomez for over 20 year and find him competent. The administrators of the practice have no concern for the patients or their medical well being. I recently had spinal surgery and my surgeon wanted me to see the infectious disease doctor as soon as possible. The earliest appointment was September 5th. When I notified the surgeons office they called, and on Friday the 12th I received a phone call from the UM infectious disease that they had one opening on Monday the 15th at 11:40 AM. I had an appointment with Dr. Gomez for the same time and immediately called to reschedule offering to come in earlier or later the same day. I was advised there may be a cancellation fee of $50.00 but due to the emergency nature of the situation felt it would not be an issue. The following week I was advised that the --ADMINISTRATORS-- had decided that it was not an emergency and I had to pay a $50.00 fee. The dollar amount is insulting as it it so insignificant. I asked if Dr. Gomez was aware of the situation, and was advised this was a decision of the --ADMINISTRATORS--. I advised I would not pay the $50.00. Today I received a certified letter advising that they would not longer see me as a patient. The callous indifference to the needs of the patient are reflective in the impersonal treatment you receive as a patient of this practice. This indifference affects all levels of the practice and they feel a patient relationship who has a legitimate emergency is not worth $50.00

I only saw Dr. Gomez twice. Both times he was very congenial and informative. Prior to my second visit I had to cancel at the last minute due to an emergency. Although there is a $50 charge for same-day cancellation, I know its discretionary. I had no idea he charged it until I saw my credit card after the second visit. I called and politely asked the assistant if it could be reversed, explaining that this emergency was beyond my control and for each of my two appointments I had to wait approximately an hour and that my time was valuable as well. She said she would check with Dr. Gomez. One week later she called back and said that Dr. Gomez agreed to reverse the charge, but he was --firing-- me as his patient. A short time thereafter I got notice through the patient portal that Dr. Gomez had gotten the results of my blood/PSA tests. When I looked at what the office posted, it was the lab results sent to him, which I coudnt interpret since Im not a doctor. I asked the question, --is this good news?-- I never got an answer. I thought this was poor form, even if he had --fired-- me. I think that one of the factors with Dr. Gomez is that he appears to view himself as very religious (you get a --God Bless You-- when you leave), which is fine with me. But perhaps because he views himself as such, he doesnt view his conduct as being anything other than acceptable in the eyes of God. So when he fires someone who complains about a $50 charge, that to him is OK. My bottom line with Dr. Gomez is that he seems like a perfectly fine doctor, but despite an appearance that he cares about your well-being (each visit ends with a hug along with the --God Bless You--), I agree with some of the other posters that its most likely your (and his) wallet he cares about more.

I did not get to see the doctor because the policies of the office, in reference to making appointments, are so illogical that I feared the diagnose would also be very illogical. This is what happened: My wife and I asked for an appointment for the same day so that we do not have to do it on different days and they said that they have the policy that they do not receive husband and wife on the same day even if it is at different times. In my opinion this rule infringes on peoples freedom to accommodate their schedule. In addition, this rule is environmentally unfriendly by promoting more car trips. My advise is to stay away from this doctors office.

He is out of touch with reality. If you are sick, it is virtually impossible to get in touch with him. His office is a disaster. It is virtually impossible to get a call back. I was given the wrong dose of an antibiotic. It was only corrected when I called his service and the physician assistant told me this dose was a mistake. He will give you a diet for chronic cystitis to follow but will demand you eat plant based in person. He fails to listen to his patients and cannot accept criticism. He is dangerous!!! He told me I had heart disease and was a time bomb to run to a cardiologist. After checking with other physicians, it was all a lie. Please do not see this man. He is dangerous!!!!

Do not see this doctor. Run! Run! Run! He is dangerous and out of touch with reality. It virtually impossible to get in touch with him. His office never returns calls. I was given a wrong dose of an antibiotic. Instead of being given 250 of Cypro I was given 850. I only saw the oversight when I called his office and his service corrected the error. He never apologized for this error. Sit and wait to see him. You will be there over two hours, and he will only allocate five minutes to see you. He is constantly looking at the computer screen and does not look at you. He is dangerous. The last time I was there he told me I had heart disease and was a walking time bomb. After checking results of tests performed, it was erroneous and a blatant lie.

Stay away from this doctor. The only thing he cares is how much money and what insurance company you have. I even did not see his face for 2 minutes! In addition, today, I have received a health statement from my insurance company. Although I was not given information (while I was in his office), he sent out some of stuff to a lab which costs $3000!
