In 2012 I found myself requiring reconstructive urological surgery. I was lucky that Dr. Dugi was at OHSU to perform this 7 hour surgery. He had the wherewithal to call in the OHSU plastics team during the procedure. The fact that he called-in the plastics team, was crucial, as that decision made the final result look as normal as humanly possible. After the surgery Dr. Dugi was available, making trips to my bedside to check-in with me. After I left OHSU, I went to Europe to spend time recovering. While I was in the UK I met with Professor Tony Mundy who is regarded as the worlds foremost urological surgeon. When Professor Mundy saw the work donne by Dr. Dugi he was stunned at the meticulous work. Professor Mundy made it clear that I couldnt have found a better surgeon to perform this difficult reconstruction. I consider myself the luckiest man on Earth to have this amazing Doctor. Dr. Dugi didnt just save my urological system - he saved my dignity and changed my life forever!
