My husband is young and diagnosed with aggressive prostate cancer. Dr. Eun saved his life! What a brilliant, gifted, and personable man, doctor, & surgeon! One could not be in better hands! Dr. Eun is personable, kind, caring, and willing to sit and discuss procedures and results. His knowledge of anatomy is astounding, his creativity is limitless and he uses these attributes, these gifts to advance the latest technologies available to him for the betterment of his patients and surgical results! HOw fortunate we have been to have found this brilliant man! This cancer was going to steal from my husband many many years. Dr. Euns objective from the first appointment was to get those back. How confident we are to look forward to many more years of life! For cancer surgery, you could not find a better and more capable doctor and caring staff! Thank you!

In the fall of 2015, I was referred to Urologist Dr. Daniel Eun of Temple University Hospital for a somewhat rare condition. My condition also required the the consultation of and treatment by an Endocrinologist as I was taking numerous meds. Dr. Eun referred us to Endocrinologist Dr. Jonathan Anolik. This was very convenient as the two Dr.s occupy offices on the same floor in the same building. My condition required a number of tests over a 6 month period in order to confirm that my condition would be resolved via surgery. It also required the management of numerous meds up to surgery as well as after. Both doctors and their staff could not have treated us any better. Both doctors were very professional, knowledgeable and compassionate. Both Dr.s kept each other informed as to my status and progress. They kept us informed at each stage along the way up to and even after the successful surgery via the Temple Health Medical portal. They even answered our questions after hours. I thank God everyday for these two Dr.s for restoring my quality of life. If you are looking for an Urologist and/or an Endocrinologist, I highly recommend Dr. Daniel Eun and Dr. Jonathan Anolik without any hesitation whatever.

Dr. Eun performed a simple prostatectomy for me on November 1, 2017 at Temple University Hospital for an enlarged prostate. Prior to meeting with Dr. Eun, my prostate issue was being handled by my regular urologist at Abington Urology. Fortunately for me there were no issues with cancer, but because of the large size of the prostate, the quality of my life was declining rapidly. Having to wake several times at night and not fully clearing my bladder led to having to use a catheter. No getting sleep was affecting my work, play and health. Mt regular urologist recommended that I see Dr. Eun. This was the best decision I have made for my health in a long time. My first visit to his office in Philadelphia and meeting his staff put me at ease with having the surgery. They are the kindness people that I have ever met. Dr. Eun and his staff assured my wife and I that they would do what was needed to give me a quality of life that I enjoyed as a young man. It has been three weeks since my surgery and I feel great. I cannot say enough good things about Dr. Eun. He is a blessing. Thank you for being such a wonderful man and surgeon.

We were referred to Dr. Ean by our GP after the first specialist we went to upon being diagnosed with kidney cancer said my husband was not a candidate to have a partial kidney removal. As a diabetic he really cant afford to lose a kidney unless absolutely necessary. We found Dr. Eun to be very friendly and knowledgeable, as was his staff. He found the tumor to be --complicated-- in its structure and aggressiveness, but took the time necessary to fully remove the tumor and save the kidney. Today my husband is cancer-free and has full kidney function. In spite of being famous in his field (there is only one doctor in the world who has done more of this type of surgery), Dr. Eun was very down to earth and took time to fully explain the condition and the treatment. We were given his email address, as well as that of the physicians assistants, in case we had any questions or concerns. They were always prompt in responding. When we had a concern after hours a day after being home from the hospital, the answering service passed our question on to the doctor and he called us back to discuss the situation within 10 minutes. What doctor does that these days? I highly recommend Dr. Eun!

Dr Eun was the only dr that could save my kidney . I had a large cancerous mass on my left kidney that was wrapped around the blood vessels that go to the kidney.... He took my case because it was a challenge. I was in the top 5 percent of most difficult surgery. I am so great full for Dr Eun. He only took 25 percent of my kidney , several noduals. He got all my cancer. Yes I had to travel over 2 hours to see him but it was well worth it. He is the best.

Dr. Eun was and is highly recommended by my regular urologist, (whom Ive had for over 16 years). I was having health problems due to a very enlarged prostate. This included bleeding episodes, and infections, both bladder or prostate at times, which gave me problems emptying my bladder. Sometimes it became necessary to use a catheter. After my recent operation (a simple prostatectomy) using robotic surgery by Dr. Eun and his team of assisting doctors, I was extremely pleased at the results. It has been a game changer in my quality of life and I am very thankful for Dr. Eun and his team and my local urologist for first recommending surgery by Dr. Eun. He told me, --Were very lucky that the best surgeon in the entire country with this kind of expertise just happens to be based in Philadelphia--. I dont think one can find a better testimonial than that for any doctor. My recovery was unusually quick with an overnight stay at Temple hospital as opposed to a one-week stay using conventional surgery. Pain medications which consisted of Tylenol with codeine was only taken twice after coming home from the hospital. I also had no scarring from the surgery. I have since been amazed at the luxury of being able to empty my bladder in no time at all. I can actually feel the sensation of my bladder deflating as it empties. This has much wider implications on living a less stressful life worrying about acute bladder retention.

Dr. Eun operated on my father. Pre-surgical counseling was detailed and thorough. Excellent communication skills with patient and family. Dr. Eun was used as a second opinion and we appreciated his approach to save the kidney first, if possible, and his skill in using no blood technique during surgery. While at the hospital on the day of surgery he kept us informed as to what he was going to do and after surgery he spoke with us and gave us details of surgical outcome. We were thoroughly pleased with his skill, thoroughness, knowledge and his bedside manner. His staff (Roma for instance) was also just as thorough, patient and helpful.

Dr Eun and his staff were outstanding. Dr Eun explained everything clearly and with great compassion before we scheduled my surgery. He and his residents were attentive and informative while I was in the hospital overnight. Dr Euns robotic surgery made it possible for me to recover at home and I was up and around with my usual activities in about a week. Surgery isnt fun, but this could have been much worse. I credit Dr Euns skills as a physician and surgeon in preserving my kidney.
