I sought a second opinion and it led me to Dr. Stampfer. He explained everything, answered questions, made sure I understood all options and was very kind and pleasant. I’m very grateful and wish I found him sooner.

After an increased PSA --score-- on an annual physical I was referred to Chesapeake Urology. Dr. Stampfer was the doc that I got whom I could see the soonest. He spent a lot of time explaining what was going to happen. While the results of a subsequent biopsy revealed a cancerous growth, it has been caught early on. He and another physician both spent a great deal of time explaining my options. I will stick with Chesapeake for treatment.

Was not happy with this Dr. He was not easy to talk to, did not offer good explanations of medications or test, was quick to diagnose without fully listening and was incorrect in diagnose. Staff and PA never returned my calls and never got calls for test results. I would not recommend him.
