Best Dr most compassionate and caring. Left his family to come check on me Thanksgiving day after my robotic partial nephrectomy cancer was caught very early and was contained within mass (no spreading). Total recovery within 1 month. Dr Parekh was to be a second opinion and after meeting decided to have him do my surgery. I am extremely grateful and fortunate to have found him I highly recommend him. I was always able to contact him and his staff.

Blessed that Dr. Parekh is now in Miami! In addition to being an excellent surgeon, he is extremely knowledgeable, professional, and caring. He was always reassuring, courteous, and prompt in his follow ups after surgery. His team of doctors and nurses are also top notch and the office environment is a pleasant one.

Dr Dipen Parekh, I had robotic surgery for partial nephrectomy. Wow, My #1 Surgeon of choice. Not only is he the best surgeon, He treats you like family, I am so very fortunate to have found him right here at the University of Miami. Its a scary thing when diagnosed with Cancer, He took all my fear away. His kindness, and Caring brings a complete sense of calm. I am Cancer Free and my experience with Dr Parekh and the university of Miami was absolutely the best care I could dreamed of. Thank you Dr Parekh!

I believe I am the luckiest person to have had Dr Parekh to do my nephrectomy. He is the kindest, most gentle caring person and makes you feel like you are his only patient. Very calm and reassuring at all times.Staff all so professional and helpful. University of Miami Hospital should feel privileged to have Dr Parekh on its team. For anybody out there looking and wondering where the best place to have urology surgery should not hesitate and go straight to the UM Hospital.

I have been a patient of Dr Parekh for 5 years since he performed surgery for my bladder cancer. He is without question a highly skilled, extremely sensitive and very personable physician. He was always responsive to my many questions and I owe my current good health to this man...a class act!

Dont be fool by this doctor. I have many complications due to his surgery. He is so careless with his patients and so irresponsable that after my surgery i tried to call him many times and he never return my call. I wonder who is saying that he treats you like family!!

Choosing Parekh as my surgeon for a radical prostatectomy was the worst decision of my life. I could tell from our first meeting that he was rude and dismissive, and yet I trusted. He is a terrible surgeon and an uncaring person. THE WORST DECISION OF MY LIFE. Stay away.

Sloppy and incompetent robotic prostate cancer surgery; cut my ureter, didn’t recognize until 10 days post-op. Do NOT, under ANY circumstances, use him. I’ve had 5 subsequent surgeries to correct his unforgivable and avoidable mistakes!!!

This doctor cut my right ureter during the course of my robotic prostatectomy, requiring nephrostomy, continuous stent replacement for the past year, and most recently a surgical reimplant of my damaged right ureter. My life has changed and will never be the same. I strongly advise anyone looking for robotic treatment for prostate cancer to avoid this man and the UM facility that employs him.

My robotic prostatectomy in April, 2019 was complicated by a right ureteral injury. The incidence of this complication is reported as 0.01%. I suffered through multiple surgical procedures and hospitalizations over the past year, most recently requiring a reimplantation of my right ureter. I do not consider a doctor who boasts thousands of robotic prostatectomies as competent and I'd like to make other potential patients aware of this doctor BEFORE they make their choice of surgeon.
