When I came in with kidney stone pain he diagnosed prostate cancer. He communicated clearly the options I had for treatment, which involved readiation therapy for 9 weeks. I was very pleased with the whole process, especially when I was declared cancer-free. Dr. Agatstein is well-read and knowledgable about the most current treatments and I felt confident I was getting the best care available.

I arrived at my appointment as instructed 15 minutes prior to the scheduled time to check in & fill out paperwork & pay my copayment. It was easy, the front desk was friendly and I was in the room within 10 minutes of the scheduled time. The nurse took my vitals and asked me a few questions; the doctor spent a lot of time with me. He is very smart and was able to tell me what my problem was and how to go about getting me better. I would refer my friends to him.

very sketchy doctor. recommended i go for daily radiation treatments for 9 weeks at a center over 30 miles from my home. i later learned there were several places much closer to me that he didnt even discuss. caused a significant financial hardship for me to have to drive so far every day.

I had a work related injury. The defense attorney scheduled an appointment with this doctor. My attorney did not want me to go and told me to cancel. I called this doctors office and was told only the defense can cancel the appointment. This doctors office filed a lien for this appointment, which never occurred. Another time I received notice to see this doctor, again I told the office person my attorney does not want me to go and never agreed to this doctor. This time I was told 5 or 6 days notice was not enough, and it needed to be a weeks notice. Again this doctors office placed a lien of over $300. on an appointment that was not agreed upon. I have two or three of these liens for this doctor I have never seen. This cannot be legal to do this to a patient, bill for services that were not done. The office personal was SO rude when I called, I would never recommend this office. Suspect billing practices and rude workers.

Dr. Ernest H Agatstein, MD is participating in a professional conference in Israel that announced that no women may speak, present or ask questions because --their voice is unpure--. 8 out of the other 9 doctors cancelled their participation when told about this, but Dr. Ernest H Agatstein, MD decided to participate. Apparently he concurs with this view. For your consideration!
