Great doc, cured my prostate cancer using cryosurgery. If your cancer is caught early cryosurgery is a quick and effective therapy to pursue unlike RP with incontinence and long recovery time or external radiation with a long treatment protocol and side effects.

Amazing Doctor. I was in very bad shape when I went to see him. He took aggressive treatment action and today I woke up pain free and back to my own self. Really could not be any happier.

Excellent, wonderful, the best urologist i have ever been, too. He is smart and knows what he is doing. I would definitely recommend him. His workers were nice and helpful. No one was rude.

I had a vasectomy done a couple years ago. The experience was surprisingly pleasant. Staff and doctor were all very professional, helpful, and easy to talk to.

I didnt like the fact that he walked the halls as he tape recorded his office notes. You could hear him saying the patients name and symptoms. Not very HIPAA-like.

I do not recommend this doctor. My fathers prostate was enlarged and he recommended a transurethral microwave procedure despite one of the contraindications being a prostate larger than 80 grams (my fathers prostate was larger than 80 grams). I am not a doctor so I do not know if it is routine to ignore that contraindication. All I know is that my father suffered from a bacterial infection after an ultrasound that was performed in Dr. Kaisers office and after being hospitalized for that infection a different urologist suggested another procedure to deal with the enlarged prostate. Also, Dr. Kalser did not seem to want to talk to us and ease our concerns, he was more interested in pushing for the microwave procedure.

Smart guy, loves to hear himself talk. If it doesnt concern something he can bill on, not much chance of getting a letter for the VA giving an opinion for a veteran, even if he has espoused an opinion in the medical records

Came in before holidays. He couldnt care less about the patient, only could he and the staff work through lunch to get out sooner. Incompetent staff called medication to wrong location only after I called med asst an hour later and reminded him he forgot the rx for the antibiotic. Publix is closed on holiday, so then I waited to start for two days. :( Highly disappointing and will not return.

Was seen by Dr. Kalser as an inpatient at FL Hospital. He talked over me, was generally rude, and suggested a very bizarre way of handling my situation. Immediately after he left the room, my nurse informed me that we would not be taking his recommendations as they seemed inappropriate. This man has a terrible bed side manner and I dont think he heard a word of what I was telling him, and Id be surprised if he even glanced at my chart.

I would advise to seriously consider staying away from this doctor. Not only is he arrogant, and impatient in answering your concerns but he also has a twisted sense of humor regarding checking the prostate. The office staff mismanaged my appointment for a scheduled biopsy causing me to wait 6 weeks for nothing while going off of my blood thinners for no reason prior to the scheduled surgery. When I called two days before my scheduled biopsy to ask a few questions about the surgery, I was told I wasn’t even scheduled. After 3 phone calls and 3 emails I received an explanation from the office scheduler A WEEK LATER! Unbelievably frustrating. I really question Dr. Kalser’s genuine concern for me. He’s still not reached out!

I had a cystoscopy done by Dr. Gary Kalser in his office. He used to be a very good doctor but definitely wouldn’t recommend him any more. He should have used Lidocaine and KY jelly. He used nothing and I ended up being ripped. It was the most painful experience of anything I’ve ever gone through. I bled for 2 weeks after the procedure. The problem only compiled. His office staff stated they were removing any bills due to the procedure going so bad. Well, I was turned over to a collection agency and when I threatened a malpractice suit they credited my account and had the credit problem vanish immediately. There is no reason for this type of treatment in the first place.

Dr. is very short and unconcerned. I had a Cat scan and could not get a follow up appt for results for 2 months. Very unreasonable amount of time for a recheck appt. I was the first appt and only patient in the office and still waited a long time for the Dr. He must have slept in. Go somewhere else, Dr. Kalser has no concern for patients. I never did gat my problem diagnosed.

My appointment was at 3:10. I arrived at 3:00. I was taken to my exam room at 3:20. At 4:25, after not talking to anyone for over an hour, I promptly left and got my money back. I would rather pay a specialist deductible to an office that respects my time. An hour and 20 minutes late is not acceptable.
